While undoubtedly I didn't make the most of the facilities e.g. Golf course, gym, pools, the aspects of the hotel I did use all were of a superb quality. The cuisine is great, particularly the breakfast (eggs benedict with chipotle hollandaise being my favourite), and the staff could not have been more helpful - even down to giving me suggestions... This is a beautiful property in Oro Valley (northwest Tucson), in the Catalina foothills. The grounds are beautifully maintained. We stayed in a casita, a short walk from the main buildings. They are a bit hard to get to with luggage; there aren't many units with parking out front. Not a problem, staff with golf carts are happy to drive... More

Amazing views of the Catalina Mountains. Hotel lobby and pool area very nice. Not much selection for food, 1 Restaurant and a cafe, both overpriced. parking was ok. Family and pet friendly. firepits in the pool area were lit at night, made for an excellent evening.

The views were stunning, so they have that. Parking was terrible during the weekend, they actually had the spaces outside our room blocked off for some reason. The room was OK, except that the ac was making terrible noises. We had to have maintenance come look at it first thing. We didn't use any of the facilities due to our... More

This hotel sits at the foot of the Coronado National Forest, and in fact there is a hiking trail you can take into the park directly from the hotel. You feel like you are in an Ansel Adams-like surrounding. Be sure to get a room that faces the mountain. The alternative is look out at the pool, surrounded by fake... More

After leaving a $200 toothbrush in my room, the hotel were excellent in their response to my email and had it back to me (in Canada) within a week. Very impressed. Apart from that, the hotel is in a superb setting and my business stay was a very pleasant week away from home. I wish I could always say that.

Beautiful, large, oasis-like resort backs up to a spectacular western side of the Catalina Mountains north of Tucson. Being busy with walking/hiking/biking, or just relaxing by the pool, eating outside, or taking short drives for some sightseeing is very easy to plan and do. Tucson is a preferred place for us to visit over Phoenix. The air quality is way... More

The lobby lounge is an especially enjoyable meeting/gathering place! The morning coffee bar is manned by MARY. She is a true gem!! She is a wealth of information and her warm smile and expertly made coffees start off the day just right. The 180 degree view of the grounds and mountains are stunning. For the last 6 years we have... More

My daughter and I stayed here the week of 3/9/15. For the most part we enjoyed our stay. There were good things and bad things. This was my first experience at a Hilton resort. The El Conquistador is a smaller resort property. I am usually a JW Marriott vacationer. Although the lobby is spacious and clean, it had an old... More

Amazing service and security at this hotel. The grounds were immaculate and we even saw some wild javelinas on the walking trail near the hotel. Can't say enough good about the location relative to Tucson attractions. Well appointed and good food in restaurant without being super expensive.
