The El Conquistador was one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever been to. The magnificent scenery of the surrounding hills, mountains was AWESOME, especially seeing them from the outside hot tub! The scenery, gardens, rooms and overall ambiance was truly beautiful and inviting. I definitely will be back!! more

My husband, friends and I spent two wonderful nights here last week. We had a junior suite which was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Had a couch and two chairs for relaxing. The bathroom was spacious and had an attached dressing area and closet. The grounds of the hotel are nicely laid out with a stream and foliage. The concierge... more

We reserved and stayed in a Jr. Suite with 2 Queen beds, overlooking the pool area, for 4 nights. The Jr. suites seem to be the "bookend" rooms on each floor of the central buildings. There are other hotel buildings and private homes onsite. We got a standard AAA rate. Our room was very clean and updated (furniture, linens, chairs,... more

The hotel is quite dated and a bit motel like. Needs renovation. Restaurant is a bit tacky. Set in the base of some mountains. There are more attractive hotels in the area but if you get a really good rate then its ok for the night. more

My husband and I spent a week in Tucson staying at this resort. From checking in to checking out--everything was perfect. We stayed in building 4 overlooking the valley and part of golf course. We enjoyed our view from building 4, watching the wildlife. This hotel is very professionally managed and we had a wonderful 7 days staying here. more

My son was lucky enough to make nationals for the Ironkids triathlon, and the Hilton was the host hotel for this event. We booked using points as my husband is a Hilton diamond member (living in hiltons at least 4 days a week.) Usually we use our points for elaborate trips to the Maldives, Mauritus, etc. We had a great... more

Prior to going to this resort, I had read the reviews and was a little leary. Having been a dedicated "Marriott" patron, I am used to consistency in cleanliness and satisfaction in hotel stays. This resort was gorgeous, the property beautiful, the staff, friendly and helpful. We would DEFINITELY return. Negative: dark if you arrive at night with little assistance... more

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful resort. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are pleasant, and the staff were attentive. It had been many years since our last stay at El Conquistador Resort and we were amazed by the development around the resort and on Oracle Road. There is construction work at the entrance as apparently a new entrance is being... more

I stayed here with my mom and sister for 3 nights. Our rooms were very spacious and nice. We made our reservation online at hilton.com. We choose the least expensive option which was a prepaid rate. We found out when we got there that the cheapest prepaid internet rate is more expensive than it would have been is we would... more

On June 4, 2009 we booked a week long stay at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort. Our reservation was for August 22 – 29, 2009. This was a special trip to celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary. We made our reservation directly through Hilton.com. Our reservation was for a room with a king size bed and a mountain view. We... more
