First time I ever stayed at the H.J., I was pleasantly surprised. A little better house cleaning (the bedding), and more modern television plus channel viewing would be a big improvement.

This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at.. I always stay at Howard Johnsons and this one should not have that name. We walked in the room there were dead roaches on the floor, the ceiling and wall patches jobs looked horrible, the toilet had rust all over the pipe, the blow dryer did not work, and yes... More

Very nice people. The attendant was very well informed and very helpful. The place has recently come under some renovation. The room was nice and clean and there were lots of accommodations in the area. I recommend this place and will stay here again for sure.

Checked in late at night in the rain. Rate was great ($35) and the room reflected the price but we were leaving at 7am so what the heck. Asked about breakfast and was told it opened at 6:30am. Were there at 6:30 with it in the high 30's and raining. Clerk was inside setting out breakfast. Knocked on door and... More
