This was our second stay at Hacienda Del Sol. There was a slight hiccup at the beginning but it did not disappoint us. A special thanks to Milton who went above and beyond to make the stay exceed perfection. Milton - I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like royalty. Carla is always a... More

Our visit was in the first week of February. Unfortunately we had a bad experience upon arrival as they were under construction and signage For the lobby incorrect. We arrived by taxi with two large luggage plus and Offloaded only to find out we would have to go around, due to construction! In any case, our room, deluxe two queens... More

My husband and I love staying at historic hotels, so when we had the opportunity to stay in Tucson, the Hacienda Del Sol was something we were greatly anticipating. I checked in alone (I'm sure many of you ladies are also "golf widows") while my husband was golfing. The staff at the front desk was nothing short of fantastic. Friendly,... More

Lovely hotel in the foothills. Close, but not too close to the city. Very comfortable beds and luxurious rooms. Excellent dining. The hotel has preserved its history beautifully. Currently under construction, but that did not impact our stay. This is wedding season, so Fridays & Saturdays were loud, but music stopped at midnight. I will be back.

I'd be remiss not to mention a few things for future guests to consider when spending their hard earned money. We needed to get away for some peace and quiet. We didn't find it here. Weeks before our travel date, I checked availability on the hotel website. The only thing available was the Tracy Hepburn Casita at $420.50 per night.... More

Had a beautiful view and everybody was very nice.. I liked how they all communicated to each other that it was my wife's birthday so we were treated extra special.. loved doing the horse riding that was just minutes from the hotel. and the food was so good that we are already talking about our next trip back perfect place... Attended a luncheon reception at HDS today. Excellent service. Lovely grounds. Helpful staff. Seriously second-rate food, at best. I'd ordered the salmon, which came with three steamed green beans and three steamed carrots, all glopped upon a mound of stuff that probably asserted itself as being risotto. Nice field-greens salad with some goat cheese and dried strawberries from I'm guessing... More

.Went to dinner at the restaurant . We have been there a number of times over the years, both at the restaurant and lodging. Dinner was excellent, had a great selection of wines, service was excellent, view was superb on the covered patio with a western view of the mountains and sunset. Purchased a silver bracelet at the gift shop... More

We stayed in the Saguaro Suite and really enjoyed the decor and gorgeous views. It was a spacious two-room suite with a wood burning fireplace and very private patio. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful with our requests. They brought us plates/silverware and extra wood for the fireplace. We tried the restaurant on the patio on a Sunday night... More

Loved the history behind this place so much, that I booked it for my last weekend in the states before going overseas. The restaurant on site is amazing, truly. We stayed in one of the rooms used by a certain famous actress and actor... ahem. The sprawling property was inspiring in it's southwest charm and beauty. While it was quite... More

Dear Toni, Thank you for coming to visit all the way from the far east of the Pacific Ocean. Your country looks beautiful online, I hope to come visit your place sometime. We also hope your overseas travel was an great as with us. I wont ruin the famous peoples cover but the Grand Casita was known as a "hideaway"... More
