Was in Tucson for a wedding and needed a spacious room. This embassy suites was great, even though there was construction and a facelift going on, soon to be a new name property. Pretty good breakfast options and manager receptions daily. We just love the size of the rooms with our toddler. Great food and shopping very close. Pool was... More

The rooms were newly remodeled and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great and so was the evening reception. The pool area has comfortable chairs and is a great place to relax. The hotel is in a great area with many restaurants just a short walk or drive away.

The management is doing a great job of keeping construction from being disruptive to us as guests. The breakfast was excellent. The furnishings and carpeting are in bad shape, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is really tiny and the tub was in bad shape but clean. Would have liked a little bit lower nightly rate given the dated... More

This Embassy Suites has very large rooms; however, the age of the property shows - They are in beginning stages of renovating. The location is about a 10 minute car ride to the UofAZ which is why we chose to stay here. The price is fair for amenities - free social hour and breakfast.

This place seems to be as old as the city of Tucson itself. That said the rooms are large and it would seem that each of them is a suite. If you are looking for a clean-hip place with platy of good restaurants within walking distance keep looking. This place could be cool but it would take some cleaning up.

This hotel is showing its age, but it evidently will become a Doubletree. We were there on a weekend with lots of spring break families, so it was noisy and crowded. The free breakfast was good, but the lines were long. The room was clean but worn looking. Parking was at a premium. The location is convenient to many Tucson... More

This hotel is not going to be popular with Business travelers. I was one for five years. The doors open to an outdoor courtyard. This is something I love when traveling as a family and as an Embassy Suite it is super. But business travelers will not like stepping out to a the noise of a pool and comings and... More

Where to start? The room smelled musty. The sliding glass door wouldn't open even the maximum 4 inches. The thermostat didn't seem to work (70 was boiling, 68 made it freezing). The shower knob wouldn't hold position - it just flopped around. The tub wouldn't drain (ugh!). The shower grout and tub silicon was mildewed and moldy. Painted concrete walls... More

This hotel is about to receive an upgrade and it is time. Everything is old and a little smelly. I'm not going to hold this visit against the hotel or chain. I caught it at the wrong time. The breakfast was good, didn't get a chance to hit the manager's reception, though. I hope to stay here when it has... More

Tired, old rooms. Nice lobby and pool area. Very good breakfast but no signs to tell you where to fine the cooked to order stuff. Make sure you ask about the eggs to order. My room was very run down, light switch on bed side light was broken, toilet needed to be repaired. Very small bathroom.
