I checked into this hotel with some colleagues for a conference - the rooms were the usual size of an Embassy Suites hotel, but the furniture was older and looked frayed and dirty. I didn't dare walk around on the carpet after looking at some of the other reviews! I agree with another traveler about the gates and access points... more

I really enjoyed my stay at the Embassy Suites. I went with my girlfriend and two friends and the hotel met our every need. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay there again. more

Our stay at this Embassy Suites went very well. The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. This is an older establishment, but very well taken care of. Our room was a typical Embassy Suites room, with the exception of the bathroom. The toilet was in a VERY small room, along with the shower. It was very clean, the... more

When we checked into this hotel, we noticed that the furniture was very run down (frayed fabric on the sofa for example), but the rooms were large and seemed clean enough. After letting the kids run around in socks on the carpet for 30 minutes, their socks were literally black with dirt. A second room, reserved by my parents, was... more

Nice staff but the property is tired. Public areas are nicely maintained but the rooms are tired. Carpet in need of replacement. Large rooms but baths small. Rooms need a deep cleaning. more

This has got to be one of the original Embassy Suites, but if you are in Tucson, it will likely suit your needs. Big rooms, kitchen area with a great fridge that keeps stuff cold, nice pool, good breakfast and evening reception, helpful staff, good location close to restaurants, golf and not far from UA and downtown. Sure, it's an... more

I stayed at this property for a four nights when I was in Tucson for a conference. The rooms are very secure and all face an interior courtyard. Mine faced the pool. If the room had not been a suite it might have been noisy from the pool activitiy, but it was easy to escape to the bedroom and avoid... more

This hotel is approximately three miles from downtown, on a very busy street. Our room was in the back so there was no issue with noise, but trying to get in the gate with luggage and hands free is a hassle. Our room was fairly clean, but definitely dated. The sheets were old, and had a cheap polyester bedspread from... more

The property underwent a 5 million dollar renovation in 2004/2005. I believe this guest may have us confused with another property.

Very disappointed as we entered our room. The furniture was faded, broken down and uncomfortable. The carpets were stained. The beds were hard. The bathroom was small, old and in need of repairs. You could only flush the toilets every 5 minutes because it filled so slowly...doesn't work well with a family! We waited in line 15 minutes for the... more

Very sorry for the wait at breakfast, we were sold out the night before. There are also many buffet items available with no wait. It does take about 2 minutes per person to prepare a fresh cooked to order breakfast. The property underwent a 5 million dollar renovation in 2004/2005 and more renovations are currently underway.

Great hotel

We were in Tucson for a family vacation. We spent 3 nights at the Embassy Suites. I liked the hotel a lot. The suite was spacious (except the bathroom). The extra space really came in handy with a 3 year old along. The pool was very delightful and the whirlpool was very large. The breakfast was huge and had a... more
