El Presidio is a wonderful little gem of an inn. It's as beautiful as it is charming, with all rooms set around a spectacular open-air courtyard will with flowers, a fountain, and places to sit and drink it all in. Hummingbirds flit from flower to flower. I stayed in the Gatehouse for four nights - a charming room filled with... More

The ideal location for our visit to Tucson - not far off I-10, in a quiet neighbourhood not far from downtown & with a couple of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. I had reservations about the lack of off-street parking, but I needn't have worried - there's ample on-street parking. The house may be a little bit unprepossessing from... More

This quiet spot is walking distance to downtown. The owner is lovely and provides a wonderful breakfast. There is no pool but the garden area complete with fountain is a great place to sit and read. I highly recommend this historic home if you want to explore the downtown area without getting in your car. Don't miss the mariachi mass... More

Patti is the ultimate hostess in this beautiful, private court yard based three unit B&B. We stayed in the carriage house; fully equipped yet charmingly beautiful. In a historic area, but two block from the central business district so convenient for both pleasure and business. Patti's breakfast are an incredible experience all by themselves... ...

Our second trip to the El Presidio Inn Bed and Breakfast was as perfect as our first. Everyone in our party of five was delighted by the charming bedrooms, Patti's welcoming snacks, and the romantic setting of the gardens. It is obvious from the paintings and needlework image of the inn hanging in the breakfast room, that Patti has accumulated... More

We stayed here for 3 days in September 2014. The owner, Ms Patti, had upgraded us to one of the apartments in the other building in the courtyard! Snacks on the table and free bottles of cold water in the fridge and a lovely breakfast every morning with whatever we would want to eat. Ms Patti knows what there is... More

Patti (owner/innkeeper) is a delight! She greeted us at our car and insisted on helping with our luggage. As we entered the courtyard I felt as if I was entering a mini Garden of Eden. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard in the mornings and early evenings. We were delighted by the antics of a hummingbird bathing... More

Patti met us at our car to assist with transferring our luggage from the car to our room. How often does that happen? As we entered the courtyard we knew we had made a great choice. The courtyard was a delightful space with many varieties of green plants (some blooming), lime, grapefruit and pomegranate trees, a large fountain, and sculptured... More

We first stayed at this charming inn almost 10 years ago and recently returned for a 4-night stay while at a conference. This superb historic inn is run by owner, Patti Toci, who lovingly restored this property along with her late husband in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She is the consummate hostess, thinking of your every need before... More

As other reviewer's have noted, Patti (the innkeeper) is a very warm, welcoming person, and she genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed talking with Patti, and we really appreciated that she took extra time and effort to help us out with a personal chore we needed to get done in Tucson. Patti provides a tasty hot breakfast... More
