It's the little things that matter, I was not asked about my Hilton Honors upgrade requests upon check-in and they did not offer the much hyped "fresh baked cookie." Not that I would have necessarily taken it, but if you advertise that as part of your customer service it should be done. The phone in our room was missing buttons... More

This is an uncommonly pleasant property with an excellent staff. The decor is pleasantly Southwest that envokes a feeling of "coming home". It is very unlike many of today's new edgy properties - in other words, very enjoyable. The restaurant is good - but the hotel is also located conveniently to the many dining opportunities offered by Tucson. Defined a... More

My daughter and I have stayed here twice and been pleased both times. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is extremely clean. It is located directly across from the zoo. The best part is the staff. My daughter acquired a puppy while on our recent stay and the staff went out of the way to make the little guy... More

Since people read reviews to adjust their traveling habits/needs (at least I do), I'll write accordingly. Negative: Noise. It's really the only thing the place has going against it. The walls are paper-thin. Easy to hear sound from the hallway and rooms next door. Cleaning crews running vacuums at 9am, banging them into the doors from the hall. Loud neighbors... More

Excellent location across from Randolph and Reed park. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Pool and hot tub heated year round. Very quiet four day stay. Restaurant was very good, we did lunch there. ISSUE they charge $5 a day for a micro wave-HELLO. Upper floor rooms north side have excellent view of Mount Lemon.

This is a very nice hotel I just thought it was over priced for one night. I booked early and had to cancel, then re-book and the price was a little cheaper the second time around. So that lessoned the blow, but the original price was too much for my taste.

The Doubletree is a solid, if somewhat unexciting, choice for Tucson. I was there for a tennis tournament so its proximity to the Reffkin Tennis Center was perfect (10 minute walk door to door), however be prepared to drive everywhere else -- it's in a part of town that feels removed from the historic downtown, university area, and of course... Several years ago, we stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful time. We'd booked a regular room but were upgraded to a suite in the tower overlooking the park because we were HHonors members and what a nice surprise that was. We were so happy with the stay then and always thought we'd go back someday. This year, we... More
