I don't think I can say enough good things about staying at this venue. I can unabashedly say this was the best experience I have ever had staying at any kind of venue, anywhere. The accommodations were gorgeous and comfortable. I felt at home as soon as I walked through the door and was immediately greeted by the staff. The... More

This B&B is a jewel. The owner Janos is very sweet, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the living room (common area) is large and has a gorgeous view of the mountains. The courtyard has a pool and hot tub. The property is outside of Tuscon in a beautiful 5 acre setting with close proximity of the... More

An absolutely wonderful stay, but far too short! We were in the Dreamcatcher - an incredibly large, well-appointed room with a Kiva-style fireplace, and the most expansive bathroom you could ever hope for. Adjacent to both the pool and the hot tub. Janos is the consummate host who prepares amazing breakfasts and sees to your every need. The Suncatcher is... More

I can't say enough great things about staying at the SunCatcher B & B. My 16 y.o. daughter and I lucked out with the Dreamcatcher room, large, comfy, great bathroom, very quiet. Janos was welcoming and accommodating, getting our food needs just right for the large scrumptious breakfasts. There is a beautiful mountain view from the living, dining room shared... More

The warm atmosphere and welcoming host, Janos, felt like visiting family! The cozy luxury of the inn was a relief from stale cold hotel rooms. Location off the main strip was perfect for relaxing while not inconvenient for day trips. All that AND a fabulous gourmet breakfast !

We visited Tucson recently and wanted a place to stay on the east side of Tucson, close to a friend's house. The Suncatcher was a fantastic find. It's on 5 acres close to the Saguaro National Forest, which we took advantage of for both causal and vigorous hiking. The Inn is really special--beautiful grounds, nice rooms, a large, comfortable common... More

Other reviews use the term "hidden gem", and, both words apply. The Suncatcher has no exterior signage, and, access is controlled - so, call Janos when you first arrive, so he can let you in. Once you're in, you will feel right at home. The property is located at the extreme eastern end of the Tucson area, literally a few... More

You will not be disappointed! The (your) host is warm and friendly. The breakfast was delightfully delicious and filling. Room was very comfortable and inviting. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub--after hiking in Saguaro NP.

This place is a hidden gem. Lovely grounds, an extremely gracious host (Janos from Hungary) and a delicious and healthy, nutritious, filling breakfast. If you have business or are seeking just a get-away on the far east side of Tucson, this place will make you feel special and away from the hustle and bustle. Don't miss it!
