We visited Tucson recently and wanted a place to stay on the east side of Tucson, close to a friend's house. The Suncatcher was a fantastic find. It's on 5 acres close to the Saguaro National Forest, which we took advantage of for both causal and vigorous hiking. The Inn is really special--beautiful grounds, nice rooms, a large, comfortable common... More

Other reviews use the term "hidden gem", and, both words apply. The Suncatcher has no exterior signage, and, access is controlled - so, call Janos when you first arrive, so he can let you in. Once you're in, you will feel right at home. The property is located at the extreme eastern end of the Tucson area, literally a few... More

You will not be disappointed! The (your) host is warm and friendly. The breakfast was delightfully delicious and filling. Room was very comfortable and inviting. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub--after hiking in Saguaro NP.

This place is a hidden gem. Lovely grounds, an extremely gracious host (Janos from Hungary) and a delicious and healthy, nutritious, filling breakfast. If you have business or are seeking just a get-away on the far east side of Tucson, this place will make you feel special and away from the hustle and bustle. Don't miss it!

This lovely inn is surrounded by the most beautiful views of the mountains. The grounds are well kept and inviting. Our host made up feel completely at home, offering up full use of the house and grounds. Our room was lovely, with southwest style décor and all the luxury amenities you would need. The breakfast the next morning was amazing.... More

Janos is an experienced B & B host, offering a family atmosphere complimented by the beauty and location of the area. Nestled amidst companion acreages, this B & B is a jewel and treasure to experience. Our room was close to the pool and hot tub offering privacy and quiet. Time over the years has taken some of the luster... More

My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Suncatcher Inn. Janos was an excellent host; very informative, friendly and entertaining! We felt very welcomed into his beautifully decorated home. So many goreous pieces of furniture from around the world. A delicious gourmet breakfast was served and picture perfect in presentation. We enjoyed the secluded surroundings and the "singing... More

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous stay at the Suncatcher Bed and Breakfast. As many others have recounted, the house is absolutely gorgeous. Jonos made us feel incredibly welcome and prepared gourmet breakfasts every day. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, making you feel miles away from civilization even though it is only 15 minutes from downtown... More
