I live in NY,and when I travel with my family,we only stay in 4-5 star hotels/resorts. I wanted something different when I came to Tucson, more my speed,as it would be my first time traveling alone. Well, I had the most amazing stay! The Inn is located right in the heart of downtown,so I was able to walk everywhere. Glen &... More

Lynn, We so much enjoyed your stay and the many conversations that took place. You had quite the adventure in Tucson and we were pleased we had you as our quest. Choosing The Liz for your first B&B experience makes us feel special and knowing we made a positive impression on your experience gives us both massive goose bumps. Pampering... More

We travel a considerable amount and I am quite particular about where we stay. First of all, the location is fabulous and close to everything downtown. Glenn and Susan are amazing. They make you feel like you are family, the breakfast is spectacular and every detail of your stay is considered. We would highly recommend staying here while in Tucson!... More

Tammy and Sean, We are so pleased you will be relocating to Tucson in January. But we will miss not having you stay at The Liz...but who knows, when friends come to visit you they will need a place to stay! You are right about the Ryan Patrick Suite and now that it is turning chilly, the gas fireplace will... More

My husband and I live on the East side of Tucson and were hoping to check out the recently renovated downtown. Since it's so far from our house, we chose The Liz as our home away from home for a night and what a superb choice it was! Glenn and Susan were fabulous hosts and we felt right at home!... More

Jennifer and Scott, We are honored you selected The Liz to enjoy your staycation. I know with the downtown core going through a transformation, many Tucson residents are venturing to experience the changes. Susan and I hope to see you both very soon and this time stay longer to take advantage of more great restaurants and entertainment activities. Also there... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at your gorgeous bed and breakfast. The rooms were perfect not a detail missed on anything....including the sound machine for sleeping. The history of your B&B was so intriguing and just made me want to explore. The pool was surrounding by beautiful gardens and relaxing. Downtown Tucson is under great transformation and... More

This is an amazing property! We took over the entire B & B for Homecoming at the U of A! In other words, we rented "out" the house! The house is very historical and an incredible gift! We used the entire property! Pool and jacuzzi are an oasis! When you take over the house you do your own breakfast, etc.... More

Lynn and Jim, Thank you for submitting a very positive review. We love it when one group takes over the entire Inn. It is such a great property and location for a family or group to hang out in and never have to use your vehicle(s) as everything is within a 5 minute walk or on the streetcar route. We... More

The Royal Elizabeth Bed and Breakfast in central Tucson is a world class establishment. It is, first and foremost, a beautiful historic home which is now a premium place to stay for the lucky visitor to this sunshine city. It has a colonial air and is a unique example of late Victorian architecture as interpreted by South West America. It... More

The Royal Elizabeth is not only an incredible place to stay (the building is spectacular), but the Innkeepers (Glenn and Susan) are the best I have ever encountered. They see to your every need, make you feel comfortably at home, and create absolutely wonderful gourmet breakfasts. Staying at the Royal Elizabeth with great Innkeepers made my adventure in Tucson a... More

Truly enjoyed my stay at the Royal Elizabeth. This elegant Victorian home has a history dating back to the Territorial era of Tucson. It was built by a descendant of Sir Francis Drake, and was later occupied by a prominent judge, Charles Blenman. Each room is tastefully decorated in period furnishings and the layout of the home, with a central... More

We attended a college football game and booked our stay at the Royal Elizabeth. The innkeepers, Susan and Glenn are so educated about the history of the Bed and Breakfast. And they were happy to educate us as well. The breakfasts were out of this world and so inventive. The rooms are so beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi... More

Susan & Glenn Miesch, inn keepers, provided a friendly and interesting greeting as they told us about the Royal Elizabeth, a well-maintained adobe Victorian they obviously enjoy sharing with guests. Breakfasts were delicious, very beautifully presented, and geared to special needs if they were requested. We had the best time with our tailgate that included both AZ and USC fans!... More
