My husband and I stayed at the "Liz" for our first weekend away from our 1 year old son and to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We had a fantastic time. I have stayed at a lot of B&B's and the decor was exceptionally well done, the details were well thought out and put together. Bring your suit because the... more

What a delight to stay at The Royal Elizabeth. Chuck and Jeff are wonderful hosts, the breakfasts being worth a trip alone! I am already considering how I might get another visit in within the next 12 months. My only regret is that I forgot to buy a bag of the signature coffee. This B&B is a true gem for... more

I booked my room without going to the website to preview my selection, as I enjoy an adventure. What a surprise I had when I pulled up in front of this beautiful adobe home. Situated downtown Tuscon, it fit in with the ajoining neighborhood with all the class and style of royalty; it's name fits it to a T. Inside... more

Even if your destination is in Phoenix, Tempe or Scottsdale change your plans and come to this gem in downtown Tucson! Top-notch, first-rate, 5 stars...there are not enough superlatives to describe the home that Jeff and Chuck share with you when you are their guest. Don't miss this very special place. more

A beautiful and unique house, gorgeously furnished, with every amenity you could possibly want. A relaxed atmosphere and stunningly good service from owners who are attentive, friendly and genuine in their welcome. And breakfasts that no other B&B could possibly match. The Liz is really perfection - we've stayed at The Breakers in Palm Beach, The Grosvenor House in London,... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Iron Horse House. It is a cosy and comfortable abode with all the amenities - Jeff and Chuck have done a wonderful job of creating a tranquil "home away from home". There is a beautiful kitchen and a lovely back yard. It was perfect for the 3 of us with plenty of space... more

We returned once again to The Liz ( same time, another year) to ferry our daughter back to the University of Arizona. After a long , hot, day of moving in countless boxes of belongings, it was a true pleasure to get "home" to our B & B. As always, we were welcomed as old friends and let out a... more

I am a bit late in writing this but I have to share my experience with anyone who is considering coming to Tucson. I came for a week in the spring to escape the lingering New York winter. The Royal Elizabeth was my home for that week and I am so glad I found this place! One of my favorite... more

My recent stay at the Liz was one of the best business travel experiences I have ever had. The warmth and graciousness of the hosts, Chuck and Jeff, exceeded any Ritz or Four Seasons experiences I have had. The accomodations were top notch and the food was pure epicurean delight. The broiled papaya topped off with orange blossom honey infused... more

This beautiful gem is hidden in plain site on the south side of downtown in a quiet neighborhood close to many of Tucson's attractions. You really can't see it from the street, it is very private, but you won't be disappointed when you walk through the front door. And if you can't imagine what an 1870 adobe Victorian looks like,... more
