This B&B is beautifully constructed in the style of a Mexican hacienda, with rambling courtyards, fountains, and extensive gardens. It's a real gem that makes for a very relaxing stay. Our room had separate sleeping and sitting areas, and the sitting area looked out onto a small pond and garden that attracted a fascinating range of bird life, especially early... More

We stayed here seven years ago and were delighted that we could get a reservation on our latest road trip. The setting is very unique; out in the desert near Sugauro National Park. All the rooms are complete suites with kitchen facilities as well as all the expected niceties. Out hosts, Rosemary and David, were perfect for running a B&B:... More

My wife and I spent two nights in July 2014 at the the Hacienda del Desierto. This is a wonderful B&B - a lovely desert setting with beautiful, and very well maintained, grounds - right in the heart of the Sonoran Desert! It is very quiet and peaceful - a great place to unwind and relax. If you enjoy wildlife... More

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights in April at Hacienda del Desierto and stayed in the Casita. The Casita is a charming little standalone house that is absolutely perfect for two and is far and away the most relaxing experience at a bed and breakfast that I've ever had. The house isolates you from things, the land behind... More

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and we were very please with our room, the patio suite. It was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. The other nice thing was we could fully open all of the windows and enjoy the desert night air while we slept. Rosemary & David were very friendly and knowledgable... More

Its always nice to be able to get little insites on what to see and where to go to eat, The peace and quite and being surrounded by the local animals and birds was a huge plus. The hot tub and... Hacienda del Desierto is a wonderful B&B and more. It is a destination in itself and a place you could happily spend a week or more. We had a most comfortable room with a kitchenette and private patio. It was very clean and well equipped and we wished we were staying for longer. There is so much to do both... More

An incredibly peaceful place to spend a few nights. Definitely a place for nature lovers. Lots of birds and wildlife around the property. There are also many private sitting areas where you can enjoy a glass a wine and be entertained by the hummingbirds.

We have stayed in many Bed and Breakfast inns. Hacienda del Desierto stands out. Set in the desert at the base of Saguaro National Park, it provides wonderful views and gracious accommodations. The landscaping is remarkable; the wildlife fun to sight, and the hosts are thoughtful and friendly.. We would return here at any opportunity.

This was our first stay at Hacienda del Desierto but I can assure you, it will not be our last. The location, ambiance and service were extraordinary resulting in a blissfully relaxing and romantic adventure that both Virginia and I relished. The owners, David and Rosemary, couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful or gracious. They went to great measures to... More
