We stayed at th Hacienda for a long weekend in the Arizona 'winter', and it was a wonderful experience. The B&B itself is stunning, both in the Sonoran desert backdrop, and in the beautiful architecture - so if you're not from the Southwest, it's a real experience to stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I was stunned... More

We loved our first visit so much, that we booked a stay with Rosemary and David again this year. We stayed in the Casita, a private house on the property, complete with kitchen, deck, and private hot tub. We prefer to cook our own meals when possible as we travel, so this option worked well for us. Breakfast was delicious,... More

This B & B is a great place to stay in Tucson away from all the traffic and noise. Hosts are great and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were first class. We will return. Property is stunning in the desert with interesting wildlife.

How could you not love this place? This is my family's third stay at the Casita and each have been incredibly relaxing, in a wonderfully peaceful and scenic setting, with gracious and acommodating hosts! The Hacienda rooms are great for a couple but we are three, so our stays are at the small Casita on the property. Wonderfully furnished, two... More

This is a wonderful B and B, even for people who do not think they like B and B's! It is southwestern through and through. Lovely grounds with beautiful cacti and southwestern art. Beautiful sunsets! Dave and Rosemary are incredible hosts. Our early moring flight necessitated us leaving before breakfast. Rosemary insisted that we come 30 minutes before the posted... More

I stayed at the Hacienda during a family emergency and it was a beautiful, comfortable, and comforting refuge. Of all the tens of B&Bs I have stayed in this ranks at the very top with only a couple of others. The spot is beautiful and the B&B itself charming and has lots of areas to enjoy outside the wonderful and... More

My husband and stayed for four nights beginning on Thanksgiving day. The bed and breakfast is out of way, but right next to Saguaro National Park (east unit). You can't get any closer than that! We had the patio suite, which consisted of a average size bedroom area, a living area, complete with a TV, a galley kitchen and a... More

This was my 3rd stay at Hacienda del Desierto and all have been wonderful. Access to trails in Saguaro East National Park are within walking distance. Breakfasts were delicious and the bed very comfortable. Lovely desert all around.

Having stumbled across this hidden jewel several years ago, we were finally able to return to find it virtually unchanged. What a delight to be there in the same room, La Rosa, visiting with David and Rosemary again. We are grateful to have found such a lovely, peaceful treasure and can only hope to return again. Back on our Bucket... More

This B&B is beautifully constructed in the style of a Mexican hacienda, with rambling courtyards, fountains, and extensive gardens. It's a real gem that makes for a very relaxing stay. Our room had separate sleeping and sitting areas, and the sitting area looked out onto a small pond and garden that attracted a fascinating range of bird life, especially early... More
