There is nothing like the Desert Dove. What a stunning place. The rooms were so lovely and the back area was astoundingly beautiful at sunset. I can't compliment Betty and Harvey (Inn proprietors,) enough. Betty makes the most yummy, healthy and creatively presented breakfasts. They were truly interesting and good natured people. They told me about the Havilina that I... More

Betty and Harvey are wonderful people. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Betty cooks an amazing breakfast.. Their knowledge of the Tuscon area was very helpful. They are located on the east side of the city which is perfect for easy day trips to Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, Bisbee, etc... We would not stay anywhere else. Looking forward to our next... More

I want to share the wonderful experience that we enjoyed at the Desert Dove that lead us to stay a second time and then to purchase a home in Tucson. We have stayed in B & Bs in many different states but have never enjoyed such a wonderful experience in an idyllic setting in the desert with gormet breakfasts, incredible... More

Fair-sized, master-bedroom guest accommodations (2). Exceptionally clean, quiet, private separate area for guests. Ample safe parking. Very pleasant breakfast area, and excellent breakfasts (with variety if you stay more than a day or two!). Rooms could benefit from more comfortable chairs or love-seat, etc. Attentive, knowledgeable hosts, familiar with area and willing to go extra step to help. Very nice... More

This was our 2nd stay at the Desert Dove and we felt completely at home....execpt we didn't have to do dishes, or cook, or make the bed. Harvey and Betty are so sweet. Harvey is so informative on the local activities and attractions and Betty is such an amazing cook and hostess! We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when... More

Just two guest rooms in a private wing of a beautiful modern passive solar adobe, which was designed by the owner’s son, who is an award-winning architect. Betty and Harvey really sparkle as innkeepers and set a standard that would be hard to beat. The place is filled with interesting antiques and impeccably clean. The rooms and beds are very... More

We spent a long weekend at the Desert Dove. My wife and I loved the Desert Dove. The location is a little hard to find but well worth it. The surrounding landscape is beautiful. The house was very unique. The breakfast was great. The owners were great. The website listed the Desert Dove as having the Top 15 - Best... More

This BB is an absolute joy to stay in. Clean, airy, just absolutely accomodating. Great food. Fabulous hosts and everything you could possibly request and they make it happen. I made two stops here, one going to NM and one returning to CA. I was on my motorcycle and except for the rocky driveway it was a wonderful place to... More

This Bed and Breakfast was one of the most magnificent Inns we have never experienced, we had such incredible service. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves out of bed to even enjoy the wonderfully prepared breakfast each morning. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the location of the Inn. Overall I would say... More

What a romantic place to stay in the desert!!! Desert Dove has two rooms with private baths for guests in a separate wing of the host and hostess' newer ranch home. Since my husband and I were the only guests for 2 nights in November, we had the outdoor hot tub to ourselves. Both mornings we had great, healthy breakfasts.... More
