My sister and I just spent one night in the Saguaro Room and it was just wonderful! We will want to come back for sure. The breakfast was gourmet and memorable. Dennis and Christine are the perfect host and hostess and know exactly what to do to make their guests comfortable. It is so homey. We met two great couples... More

Three sisters in need of R & R traveled this past March from the East and West coasts, as well as Chicago, to celebrate life and renew our energies as the desert bloomed, and warm sunshine dispelled the memories from Winter 2013-14! Our bedrooms (Sabino, Saguaro, and the Library) and bathrooms were immaculate, and inviting, with thoughtful extras...mini frig, a... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Azure Gate. The grounds were lovely, set at the east end of town , near Saguaro National Park. We were able to walk on the grounds of the Azure Gate and on the quiet road there for birding in the mornings. The inn was lovely, quiet, welcoming. We had the run of the house... More

This place is every bit as nice as the other reviews led us to believe. It feels really removed from the city aspects of Tucson, yet it's very convenient to all kinds of activities: biking, hiking, shopping, great restaurants. I feel so relaxed here. The pool area is beautiful, our room is cozy and decorated so interestingly, and all the... More

Was only able to spend two days at this marvelous bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Sabino room and were as comfortable as in our own home! The whole house, as well as, the individual rooms in the house are artistically fascinating and extremely comfortable. But then comes the food!! Dennis created some of the most sumptuous yet health... More

Just back from our first visit to Tucson and the Azure Gate. As past reviewers have mentioned, Dennis and Christine have created a warm, welcoming environment where guests are treated as family. We stayed nine days in the very clean and quiet Saguaro Room, with a large, private separate bathroom and private outdoor sitting area. We had the run of... More

Dennis and Christine have certainly done that. Their place is beautiful with many areas open to guests indoors and out. They are gracious and very accommodating. They have preprinted directions to everything in the area and further away in addition to brochures on all local attractions. Everything is super organized, and they are there every morning to answer questions and... More

We spent 10 blissful days at Azure Gate in February and have nothing but great things to say. The location is idyllic - in the Sonoran Desert surrounded by fabulous mountains, desert vegetation and local wildlife. The property is charming and authentic and includes several acres of lovely plantings. We were lucky to book our time in the Santa Ana... More

We enjoyed our stay at Azure Gate. The location is really convenient to Sabino Canyon, and the B&B's grounds are like a miniature park in themselves. Breakfasts were outstanding. Dennis and Christine are fun to talk to and have many talents in addition to their gifted hospitality.

What can I say? Dennis and Christine, were once again the perfect hosts. I cannot say enough positive things about this oasis in the desert. The location is perfect. The breakfasts are amazing. Dennis and Christine are so welcoming, and genuinely interested in their guests. We loved being there again, and totally understand why guests keep going back time after... More
