A welcome return to Azure Gate for us! Both Dennis and Christine Widman were destined to be the perfect hosts. Always enthusiastic and all with a smile. Being able to make a cup of tea (great for English guests) to sip whilst enjoying Dennis' fantastic breakfasts was a delight. There's endless supplies of information about the area and we're so... In addition to the exceptionally professional attention the Widman's lavish on each and every guest room (and guest), there are also the little things that make staying at Azure Gate B&B consistently wonderful. Flowers on the kitchen table. Excellent products in the bathrooms. Sweets and snacks to nibble on. Soft and thick bath towels. If you are unsure of B&B's,... More

This was our first time at Azure Gate B&B, but it will not be our last! From the very moment we drove in and were greeted by Dennis to the farewell three days later, we found a welcoming, peaceful and lovely place. The breakfasts were scrumptious and the accommodations were just outstanding. The B&B is located with a view towards... More

How sweet it was to revisit the Azure Gate after a ten year hiatus and find everything as lovely and peaceful as we had remembered. Chef Dennis was even more creative and successful in the kitchen and we once again enjoyed morning chats with Christine who shared with us the best things to see and do in Tucson. The house... More

I stayed at Azure Gate with my husband and parents the weekend after Thanksgiving. The grounds were lovely and our rooms spotlessly clean. The property is situated in a quiet area with plenty of desert landscape to explore. We enjoyed stargazing at night and taking early morning walks around the area. The breakfasts were amazing! Everything was so fresh and... More

This was our second visit to the Azure Gate. We were absolutely amazed when we spent a weekend 5 years ago and decided to return for a week long stay. Much to our delight, the experience was equally good, if not better, than before. The breakfasts are hands down the best you will encounter anywhere. 5 stars for flavor, creativity,... More

The predominance of five star ratings on Azure Gate may risk raising the bar of expectations and I add mine only because more stars are not permitted. We were so very pleased with our visit. It has a great location, in a quiet desert upscale residential neighborhood. We easily traveled to every place we wanted to visit from there but... More

This was my 2nd visit to the Azure Gate - my husband's first - and it fulfilled all I had promised him and more. I wouldn't have believed I could love this place even more than before, but this visit brought fresh experiences, including a moonlit meander through the cactus garden, mornings in our own sun-filled apartment (with the most... As I admired the website photos of the Azure Gate B&B, we recently enjoyed a totally memorable few days with the Wildman hosts - Dennis being the expert photographer. They offer spacious grounds with humming birds amongst other feathered friends, along with private luxury boutique-style self-contained apartments which Christine has enhanced with her beautiful artistry. The breakfast spread was exceptional... More

The Azure Gate Bed and Breakfast in a nutshell a home away from home. This was our third visit with the Widmans and our third trip to Tucson, so as you can see we can’t imagine spending it anywhere else. Such warm and gracious hospitality offered by Christine and there are just no words to compliment Dennis’s cooking. A true... More
