I stayed here for 2 weeks and in that time have been walked in on while changing in the girls dorm by the male manager nearly every day, the male manager kept making dirty comments and would continuously hit on me and my roommate, the male manager kept asking to borrow my rental car to take out other hostel guests... Hello! I stayed on and off in the Roadrunner for six months, from January to July, as I was doing a lot of traveling around the state. The place became a home away from home, and had that feeling from the first time I visited there. Always clean, friendly staff, cool art, and at a great location, just a short... More

Everything about this beautiful, friendly, and caring hostel is exceptional. I had a long stay at Road Runner and the staff and guest became family to me. They take pride in the cleanliness of this charming house. The morning waffle breakfast was amazing and the use of the professional style kitchen made me feel at home. Lockers for my valuables... I stayed for about 9 nights back in February during the Tucson Gem Show. The homely feel is something you just don't find anywhere else and made the experience vet special and memorable. The dining area & lounge are very small which encourages interaction with other guests. Loved the free waffles and friendly staff who were more like fellow guests... More

Gorgeous hostel in an amazing location! Walking distance to downtown and situated in a cozy cottage. Staff was so helpful and nice! Great kitchen, free breakfast (and shelf of free food in fridge), cosy common areas. Dorms were clean and not too cramped. However, the private rooms don't lock from the outside, so need to use lockers. Probably not the... More

I have been experiencing different hostels here in the states for over two decades and this is a great example of what a hostel can be. The location in town is great, just close enough to all the fun madness for easy participation; and just far enough back to be a quiet oasis after the day/night adventure. Domitory and private... I had a really great time at this hostel. I've been a number of times but it just seems to get better. The beauty of the heritage home turned hostel, authentic landscaping and great staff combine to give you a real sense of the unique character of Tucson. The staff was hugely helpful in finding great places to go out... More

The location of this fabulous, cute hostel is hard to beat. You can walk downtown and are a short bike ride away from the campus/entertainment district too. The staff was excellent; helpful, friendly, funny, and genuine. The hostel felt like home during my stay and I enjoyed meeting lots of great people from all over the world of all different... More
