After traveling over 400 miles from California to Tucson to visit my grandparents in a retirement home I decided to check into the Motel 6 off of Ina Rd. to stay the night there. The desk clerk there had as much personality as a doorknob but it was something I could easily overlook since I had stayed at Motel 6's before and was satisfied at least with the rooms which was why I had chosen it for it's value. I should have known when I walked into the hallway to go to the room that I was in for a "real treat". The hallway leading to my room looked nothing fancier than a prison ward with no carpeting. The room was painted institutional white and the air conditioner which was louder than a 72 Pinto's engine wasn't much of a relaxing noise. The bathroom was "ghetto" being the shower head was disgustingly mildewed (don't think I spelled it right oops).
