When you walk in to the lobby its pretty and the staff is very nice. However, when you get to your room it is a different story. The toilet never flushed (yes we did inquire about it) It hadn't even been flushed by the last guests. The room smells bad, carpet is not clean, the shower never got hot (... More

Very kind and nice staff almost made up for the bad smell coming from the drain pipes of my room. The view into the courtyard is lovely - La Posada has a 3-story front building and the back of the building faces a landscaped courtyard with one-story casitas lining the western edge. Beyond is a park and you can see... More

We were here for a week. We really thought we had reserved a Casita but evidently did not so we were in a regular room. I bit outdated but functional and clean. Nice balcony with a view of the mountains and the grounds are well maintained. For a night or two the room would be fine. For a week we... More

Like many budget hotels, La Posada has its up and downs. Pros: the facility and grounds were well-kept and attractive. The rooms were clean and reasonably quiet. Most rooms have an attached patio or balcony facing away from the street. Their location is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Parking is free. Staff is friendly. Cons: guestrooms are cramped. The bathrooms... More

I found this hotel after a mishap at my previous hotel. I stayed here for the fourth night of my business trip. I had never heard of this hotel before, but am so glad that I took the chance. The rooms are quaint, despite being an old building. Some general housekeeping and maintenance upkeep issues, but nothing to call the... More

After a long bout of high winds I expected the landscaping and walkways to be littered. Everything was very clean and the lawn freshly mowed. The pool sparkles just like the pictures. The room was a lovely Casita below the first floor and near the pool. Everything in the room was clean and the King bed was firm but comfy.... More

We have driven by this place many times & didn't realize it was there. This is an updated older hotel that has very nice rooms and beautiful grounds. This hotel is very well maintained. We had a 3rd floor room with a balcony. The view was very nice. We could see the Catalina mountains, the Tucson city lights at night... More

Don't be put off by the fact the hotel is on the highway. All the rooms open up to wonderful views facing the mountains. We did not even hear the road at all. We did hear the coyotes on the golf course that our balcony overlooked one night though. The front staff is absolutely fabulous and were extremely knowledgable and... More

We take a lot of road trips and try to find places in each town we visit that we consider "Go-To" places. La Posada Lodge and Casitas is now our "Go-To" place in Tucson! The casita that we stayed in for five days/4 nights was relatively small for a Suite, but was clean and comfortable. In addition, there were private... More

This Place is so quite, being it is on a very busy road, we stayed in one of the Casitas, Very Clean and lots of room, and with a patio to sit in to just relax, after a day of checking out the really cool sites that Tucson has to offer, there is a nice big court yard, and guest... More
