It was annoying to pay a "resort fee" for this hotel, when it didn't provide anything more than you would find at a Hampton Inn. Worse, though, have been the months of telemarketer calls from the parent company, Diamond Resorts. They use robocalls EVERY SINGLE DAY to my cell phone. Even a great hotel stay (and this was just ok)... More

We regret to hear of your dissatisfaction with your recent experience. The persistence you encountered is certainly not the desired approach for our sales team. We will address this with our Concierge Manager for review and coaching purposes. While we are happy to offer all of our guests the opportunity to learn more about our product, this presentation is certainly... More

We stayed at this condo during our recent visit to Tucson. We were very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. We had a 1 bedroom unit that was facing the street. We really were not bothered by the street noise but I would recommend a pool facing unit for our next visit because it would simply be more relaxing.... More

I have stayed here several times on business over the last few years. The rooms are clean spacious with a separate bedroom comfortable king sized bed, well appointed kitchenette and living area. For an extra plus and especially nice after a long day of work is the jacuzzi bathtub! Good location, super front desk staff. I would not hesitate to... More

I was hesitant to stay here after reading some of the reviews, but we had a great time. Our room was overlooking the inner courtyard and pool, and we did not experience the street noise that some reviewers complained about -- so definitely try to get a pool view! We stayed on a Groupon and had no trouble using it.... More

the Varsity Inn in Tucson has it all. Situated in the very heart of Tucson....near so many diverse "must see" attractions. This Inn has fully furnished rooms including full kitchens. The pool area is fantastic for soaking up some of that wonderful Arizona sun. There are several casinos near for those that enjoy games of chance. Also there are several... More

Recently we needed a local hotel to stay for three weeks due to some home renovation, on a friend's recommendation we chose this Hotel. A week or so before we checked in I booked the time with the Front Desk Manager. At that time I was told the room I requested was available for just two weeks, after that they... More

Spent 3 nights here. Front Desk Lady was great! Rooms were nice and clean. Don't select any outer unit because with 2 busy intersections it can be very noisy at night. Stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was very nice and spacious!! Will stay here again when I am in the area!! Only thing this resort lacks is having... More

Our stay at this hotel was for over two weeks. We were in between homes and needed a nice place. Varsity Club in Tucson was a welcoming and fun atmosphere for our whole family. We had a very nice stay. All of the staff were wonderful and friendly! Rooms were clean and everything seemed to function well. Weekend games and... More

Overall, it was super nice. The way everything is set up though made me feel as if I was in a compound. Cameras on every corner, scary security guy at night that will harass anyone. The workers, eh they were ok. The star quality of this place comes from the room. It's really nice. Big room, living room, kitchen, bath,... More

When we booked a one bedroom unit, the information stated it accommodated 4 people. Having stayed at other Diamond resorts in the area - Scottsdale Mirage and Sedona Summit - where the one bedroom units were identical and quite large - full kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area - we expected the same. However, the one bedrooms at the Varsity... More
