We stayed at the VCA-Tucson chapter as an exchange for our timeshare, and it was truly the most disappointing experience we've ever had on a vacation. I would NOT recommend it for a timeshare exchange OR to stay there overnight as a hotel. The property is located in a very "seedy" area, with many individuals just "hanging" around the front... more

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was on a busy street, but it was in the 90s so we had airconditioner on most of the time. We were lucky to get a west room with a balcony and enjoyed having a drink and watching the sun set. Very nice accomodations. Bed a little hard. Unit every clean... more

We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Varsity Club. This place is really an interveral vacation club that rents its units as available. I wouldn't really classify it as a hotel. We arrived very late at night and had a little difficulty getting in. The floors in the lobby were just waxed so someone let us in... more

We stayed here for one week for a timeshare exchange. We had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking a very, very busy and NOISY intersection. We requested a different room, but they couldn't find us one until 3 days later. We were told they didn't have any rooms, yet we saw very few people around the complex. We got... more

Stayed here as part of hoilday to Arizona. Rooms great, clean and well furnished, staff both welcoming and helpful, pool area quiet and peaceful. Would we return? YES. The only problem was lack of eating places for evening meal in the immediate area. However staff pointed us in the right direction and each place recommended lived up to expectations. more

We stayed at the resort during our time share exchange and we were hoping that hotel was going to be located in a good area. The hotel is NOT in the best neighborhood area and lacks security in the parking lots. Our family vehicle was parked outside the resorts parking lot and was vandalized. They removed all four wheels and... more

My family and I, 5 total, stayed at this hotel at the end of March. I have 2 teenage boys and a young daughter and we all felt that there was plenty of room. The beds are king size and comfy. None of the kids wanted to share a bed, so the staff brought us up a roll away bed... more

I spent one night at the Varsity Club in March 2006. The overall experience was all right, but not quite what I expected, which was probably largely my fault. First, the hotel's website has a drawing that gives quite a different impression of the facility than the reality. This hotel is located on a very busy street in Tucson. And... more

My husb. and I stayed here Aug 13, 2005. Room 313 is 2 bedroom 2 full bath suite with a patio over looking the pool. Great bathrooms with very large Jacuzi tubs in each. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for entertaining. Nicely decorated, very private. This is fabulous for a weekend getaway with the family or... more

Great rooms- no noisy guests, very quiet and exceptionally enjoyable. Large living room/kitchen area with ceiling fans and bath with jacuzzi tub. Beds were large and comfy- two tvs with VCR in living room and tv in bedroom. Kitchen had all sorts of amenities including a George Foreman oven/broiler and a microwave too. Excellent bath amenities included toiletries from Sedona... more
