This is a basic Aloft. Its among the most central & modern hotels in Tucson. Weekday experiences are good, but weekend experiences with families were not. Service here is inconsistent, and on my last visit I noted challenges with maintenance and cleanliness. The manager shared they were working through some stuff.... Perhaps its a weekend issue. When the hotel is... More

Came back to the UOfA for a 40th reunion of the National Championship Baseball Team. Hotel is a super stop. Hotels was very busy as always. Front desk was very helpful. Had there breakfast package.Rooms were very clean. Wifi did it job in the room. When visiting UofA this is a must stay.

To me the property has everything I want and does it well. The room was very comfortable. Lobby has a nice bar. One night there was a small jazz ensemble. It has an elaborate snack bar instead of a restaurant. That doesn't bother me because I don't want to eat at my hotel. Instead it is within walking distance to... More

I agree with the other reviewers, it's a good business hotel, good wifi, large desk in room, clean and comfortable beds. If you're sensitive to noise ask for a room on the backside in the top floors. The staff is very nice and helpful. My main issue with this place is the food. I had two meals here, dinner and... More

We had a wedding to attend in Tucson, and Aloft fit the bill. I originally thought this hotel was going to be too hip for my tastes (and it's own good) but I was wrong. This was a great hotel, affordable, good location, plenty of parking downstairs, absolutely nothing to complain about. They accommodated us last minute and at a... More

This was my first stay in an Aloft hotel and would definitely stay in other locations across the US when presented the option. This hotel was close to U of AZ/Banner Medical Center where I had appointments. The rooms are quite large and the beds and linens were by far the best I have encountered in a basic hotel chain.... The hotel is close to the University of Arizona. It is a hip, modern hotel. The room design is modern. However, the room has no drawers. The hotel provides complementary wifi and the wifi reception was excellent.I came back to my room around 4 pm after business meeting. Housekeeping staff did not clean the room until that time. I just... More

I stayed here for two nights while on business at the University of Arizona. I was being picked up and taken places, so the location didn't matter that much to me. I'll just write about the hotel stay itself. The room was comfortable and modern, but I share other reviewers' quibble about no drawers to unpack clothes. However, other aspects... More

The location on Speedway isn't great, but the friendly staff, modern room design, and evening loung area make up for it. There was a jazz band playing one evening I was there, which was nice. The Aloft standard breakfast had a lot to be desired, and there are very few decent food options within walking distance. But overall it was... More

My son and I spent one night here when he had a meeting at the University of Arizona on a potential graduate school opportunity. This stay was part of a 3 hotel, 7 night trip to Arizona. The rest of our trip was in the Phoenix area. I had the best night's sleep of my stay here. Maybe it was... More
