My friend an I stayed at this hotel after not being able to stay in the dorms with our friend. The price seemed very reasonable, so we were worried our experience would be so-so. We were wrong! The hotel is so modern, and nothing seemed cheap! Welcoming, bustling lobby with lots going on at all times of day and night!... More

All in all a very nice looking building. Rooms are clean, the bar area is nice, the food service is what you'd expect at aLoft. Unfortunately for me, my room has a thermostat that reset itself to 75 degrees every hour. I woke up at 11pm to a very hot room and turned it down to 68 only to wake... More

The Aloft's location next to the U of A is a big plus. Its located close enough that its just a short stroll to campus. There is a street car that can be picked up on campus that will take you to the 4th Ave shopping area as well as Downtown. A number of bars and restaurants have opened downtown... More

My mom and I travelled to Tucson together and I wanted to find a safe accommodation where we could park our vehicle and not worry about it and be able to walk down the street at night without worry...Aloft was the perfect place. The rooms are very modern and clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable and the mini fridge in... More

Everything about this hotel was comfortable. They were extremely welcoming to pets (no extra charge!) and the neighborhood is great for dog walking. It's walking distance to the university, restaurants and museums. The staff were friendly and the rooms were quiet. The beds were ridiculously comfortable. Loved it!

I was expecting a little more but for the price this place was great. It had a really great modern feel and was perfect for a business trip. I would only add that the food selection is pretty slim and at night there were some loud people shooting pool in the lobby. If you don't mind those things I would... More

Most Aloft hotels are the same. If you've never stayed, it's a very Trendy minimalist hotel. No restaurant but they have lots of snacks for purchase downstairs and a bar. This Aloft has a nice pool table area and a cool chess set on a table next to it. The rooms are on the smaller side but are very clean... More

We stayed here in January of 2013 for my birthday. It is a great hotel. The rooms have electric blackout shades, and the beds are comfortable. The bar is well-stocked and huge. We got a couple drinks and took them out on the patio out back, because they have a fireplace that empties out on to the patio. There is... More

The room was clean and modern. The bathroom was very roomy!!! Our shower did leak out the door so we would have to be careful or have a flood on the floor. The elevators were unique with black lights with shiny stars on the walls. They also had rock music playing. The parking was plenty and convenient.

Tammie G Thank you Tammie!! We appreciate you taking the time to post your recent evaluation. I agree with you. One of my favorite things about the guest rooms at the Aloft Tucson University is the large tiled bathrooms with modern showers and amenities. Thank you again. Regards, Phil Forte More

Once tired and depressing but not anymore!!! Aloft Tucson is now alive, modern, refurbished and super cool. Check it out.....plus great central location near U of A. I always used to stay in the Foothills but now have a new in-town favorite. Thanks Aloft Tucson! From Brian Kessler San Mateo, California SF Bay Area
