I stayed at this hotel while visiting family in Tucson recently. I had read some negative reviews here after my family booked this hotel for me and was very concerned about what it was going to be like. I stayed for 5 nights and never once had any problem or saw any of the things mentioned in the reviews I... More

A piano in the breakfast room & children were allowed to "play" with it. Not a peaceful way to enjoy your first cup of coffee! Disappointed because we booked & pre-paid for a room for 3 nights with a kitchenette, but on check in was told these rooms were unavailable - requested compensation but nothing received. First room assigned to... More

I had reservations at another hotel right up the street but made a mistake and checked into this hotel. The girl at the front desk said I would get reimbursed if I had a confirmation email and a bank statement proving I had already paid for the rooms. We entered ONE room and took food down, I washed my hands... More

There are two things that make me squee when I check into a hotel: Jacuzzi in the bedroom (so rare), and balconies (becoming rare). This hotel has both and for less than $100/night. Rooms are very reasonable, and clean, though a bit outdated.... but who cares? Jacuzzi. Plus a great location easy to jump on the freeway or head downtown.... More

We stayed at this same location for the FOURTH time in conjunction with a bicycle race. The rooms are deteriorating and the staff is, inconceivably becoming LESS accommodating. Room 219 has a dirty floor in the bath, missing electrical plates, grease spots on the white bedspread and a TV from circa 1990. When we checked in there were only 3... More

I have made a reservation at this hotel so I could be close to the start/finish line for El Tour de Tucson. checking in took quite a while, for me as well as lots of travelers in front of me. As the race starts early, I asked if breakfast was available earlier than the scheduled 630am time, considering that the... More

The Hotel City Center in Tucson was our accommodation for 4 days in November, 2014. We had a large suite with two queens . The room was very comfortable; the beds were perfect! There was some deferred maintenance needed as the hotel was somewhat older, but you can't beat the "bang for the buck" (VALUE)! The grounds were exceptional; the... More

You really can't beat getting a room for under $80 a night, or the location. That being said, the low price should not excuse how poorly housekeeping and the rest of the staff kept the hotel. Management only had our reservation for two nights instead of three, and tried blaming our travel agent for the mistake, even when our group... More

Old. Dirty. Walls are paper thin. Carpets, curtains and furniture are dirty - everywhere - in the hallways, rooms, bathrooms. Hallways and rooms smell. Didn't want to sit on any of the furniture. Granite in the bathroom, beyond that no other updates. Bad lighting. Towels need to be replaced. Bathroom had broken tile, dirty grout, peeling paint. The staff was... More

Clean and well kept. A little dated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable beds. I didn't like the water pressure, very low. The property is easy to get in and out of. We did have to ask them to clean the refrigerator-it was very dirty.
