We'll simply echo what others have said here. The facility is really nice, and really well constructed, high quality throughout. The grounds are large and nicely landscaped with typical Sonoran desert plants.Although it's on a busy road right outside Tucson Mountain Park, it's set well back and behind other buildings, so it's quiet and feels quite private. We stayed three... More

I chose Cat Mountain based in part on reviews and in part on the location. On the west side of Tucson, it is on the same road and only a few miles away from the amazing Desert Museum (stop there first and spend at least half a day learning about the desert from a team of friendly and very knowledgeable... The location of this lodge is perfect, just 5 miles from the Sonoran Desert Museum. If you wish to enjoy what the desert has to offer, this is where to go. The lodge is quiet, comfortable, and the food at Coyote Pause, next door, is wonderful. Enjoy the cactus garden and the birds, especially the hummingbirds.

In March of this year my wife and I went on a birding trip to southeast Arizona. Our first stop was Tucson, where we stayed at Cat Mountain Lodge in their Fiesta room. The room was tastefully decorated in southwestern decor, with all normal amenities to include wifi. The room and bathroom were both clean, and the bathroom had all... More

My family and I have a 2 nights-stay at the Cat Mountian Lodge. You are very close (10min driving) from the Old Tucson Studios, the Saguaro West NP and the Sonora Desert museum. It is an hacienda like place with a patio where you can sit and relax. The place is so quite with a wonderful garden where you can... More

Cat Mountain Lodge is a cute inn with a half dozen rooms around a central courtyard, in classic southwest style. The common room was basic, with a computer available for guest uses, and a coffee and tea bar. Our room was traditionally decorated with lots of crosses and mirrors, reminiscent of old Mexico. The room was spacious, but unfortunately the... More

My husband, daughter and I spend one night at Cat Mountain Lodge - and we all fell in love with it. The rooms are large and decorated with local decor. The location allowed for short walks, views of desert flora and the fountain in the lovely courtyard attracted wonderful hummingbirds! This is truly a little slice of paradise! Located near... More

I loved my stay at the Cat Mountain Lodge. When we find ourselves in Tucson again, we'll be sure to return. We were greeted right away in the evening, given a quick tour and sent off to rest. The room was clean and large with fun local decor. The enclosed patio was relaxing with a lovely fountain and local cacti... More

We stayed 2 nights in this quiet and peaceful lodge. Our room was nicely furnished with plenty of room, nice bathroom, mini-fridge and beautiful Southwest decor. Rather than providing breakfast, the lodge gives each guest a $10.00 voucher for the restaurant next door that can be used for breakfast or lunch. We ate breakfast there twice. The 10.00 voucher covered... More

Cat mountain Lodge is a wonderful change from the B&Bs in Tucson near the university and in the more populated areas of town. It is just a few hundred yards from the desert monument and hence in a very quiet and serene neighborhood. The main road has little traffic later at night, and it is very still. We have stayed...
