We stayed here in late May and loved it so much! The Fiesta Room is beautiful and the bed so comfortable. The attention to detail in the decorating is amazing. The same is true of the grounds. Gorgeous flowers and native vegetation, bird feeders are everywhere and lots of little places to sit and watch nature. The property is very... More

The inn doesn't need another positive review but I wanted to throw in my 2 cents. We stayed in Spencer's Suite, just 2 of us, but would have been plenty of room for 4. Super clean, especially the bathroom. and a large square bathroom. The innkeeper was so sweet and welcoming. And we LOVED the star tour with the young... More

Our friend Found this place on line . It's near the Sonoran desert museum so it was very convent as well as reasonably priced compared to other locations. Small staff very friendly. Large rooms only four years old. Beautiful desert garden with nice sitting areas. Hot tub is great for late night talks. Quiet I would say the only downsides... More

Cloudy skies cancelled our planned star tour but the lodge didn't disappoint. Spacious rooms surrounding a pretty courtyard, nice outdoor sitting area and hottub, desert walking paths. Friendly and accommodating host. Great breakfast at nearby restaurant. Already planning to go back for the star tour.

We'll simply echo what others have said here. The facility is really nice, and really well constructed, high quality throughout. The grounds are large and nicely landscaped with typical Sonoran desert plants.Although it's on a busy road right outside Tucson Mountain Park, it's set well back and behind other buildings, so it's quiet and feels quite private. We stayed three... More

I chose Cat Mountain based in part on reviews and in part on the location. On the west side of Tucson, it is on the same road and only a few miles away from the amazing Desert Museum (stop there first and spend at least half a day learning about the desert from a team of friendly and very knowledgeable... The location of this lodge is perfect, just 5 miles from the Sonoran Desert Museum. If you wish to enjoy what the desert has to offer, this is where to go. The lodge is quiet, comfortable, and the food at Coyote Pause, next door, is wonderful. Enjoy the cactus garden and the birds, especially the hummingbirds.

In March of this year my wife and I went on a birding trip to southeast Arizona. Our first stop was Tucson, where we stayed at Cat Mountain Lodge in their Fiesta room. The room was tastefully decorated in southwestern decor, with all normal amenities to include wifi. The room and bathroom were both clean, and the bathroom had all... More

My family and I have a 2 nights-stay at the Cat Mountian Lodge. You are very close (10min driving) from the Old Tucson Studios, the Saguaro West NP and the Sonora Desert museum. It is an hacienda like place with a patio where you can sit and relax. The place is so quite with a wonderful garden where you can... More

Cat Mountain Lodge is a cute inn with a half dozen rooms around a central courtyard, in classic southwest style. The common room was basic, with a computer available for guest uses, and a coffee and tea bar. Our room was traditionally decorated with lots of crosses and mirrors, reminiscent of old Mexico. The room was spacious, but unfortunately the... More
