We had to come to town for a memorial. The hotel was located close to where we needed to be and had everything we could want. Nice service, hot breakfast, and pool and Jacuzzi. The suites were nice size and the King suite with kitchen made it convenient to bring home food or leftovers for later consumption. The only thing... More

My wife and I went to the annual Gem and mineral shows in Tucson for the first time this year and reserved a room in advance starting on Saturday. We figured on leaving early and staying in the surrounding area North of Tucson or in Phoenix but unfortunately it was Super bowl weekend and Phoenix was out of the question.... More

We stayed at this hotel Friday and Saturday Nights. When we returned to our room Friday night, we found that our bed had not been made up. This was unacceptable. Every time we tried to use the shower, we had little on no hot water. We will never stay at this hotel again.

We had booked 2 "King Suites" but when we arrived, we discovered they were very cramped, with not enough room for 2 to unpack. Although it's technically 2 rooms (bedroom and living), the king bed in the bedroom took up the entire space, and when the fold-out sofa in the living area was opened, it also took up all of... This was our first trip to Tucson and in deciding where to stay I chose the Red Lion Inn because of what the property had to offer and of course price. It offers a hot breakfast, happy hour with some light snacks, a great pool area, and location that is convenient to all that Tucson has to offer. We had... More

We have stayed here several times before, having discovered the Red Lion on a trip to Tucson by pure circumstance. Their room rates are very reasonable, especially for what you get in bonus features, like a well kept pool and hot tub, an excellent breakfast, and a happy hour with late afternoon munchies and drinks. I don't know an Inn,... More

The Red Lion is a very nice property for the price! Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and Happy Hour! A couple hiccups though. My friend had called early in the day on Saturday requesting an extra blanket and said it would be taken care of....but....it was not there when we came back later in the day. Had to call the desk... Good standard and nice garden/pool area. Above average breakfast at this price level with a good hot food choice. The 'Happy Hour' was a nice touch with snacks and beer or wine available, all foc. The only downside is the road noise (down to the location) but it didn't really bother us. I would stay again.

For $130/night, this place was disgusting: the room had a very strong odor of chlorine and chemicals and it didn't matter what we did, it was awful. There was a bug smashed on the wall and left there. In the bath tub, there were hairs and the rubber mat had not been lifted to wash the tub. Blood splatter along... More

I have stayed at this property numerous times over the years. Seems every time I go back they are under a different name. Hopefully it stays the Red Lion for a while so I can find it the next time I go back to Tucson. The worst part of this property and it is not at all the fault of... More
