My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in early June. The apartment style housing was much bigger than I expected. A pitcher of iced tea was waiting in the refrigerator for us upon our arrival. The breakfasts were exquisite, and my lactose intolerance was easily accommodated. We did not rent a car, and this location worked out ideally... More

It can't get better then this B&B. Location, room (complete fully equipped apartment), breakfasts, location, etc... All perfect! DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER!! Conveniently located in the university area, very hip and popular. Good restaurants, nice bars and plenty of shopping close to the B&B.

I typically stay at the big hotel nearby because of its proximity to the school (and my kid's dorm), but couldn't get in and a friend recommended Peppertrees Inn. It is 2 blocks from the University of Arizona's main gate right on E. University Blvd. I was completely surprised by how charming and private it is, and absolutely loved it.... More

We had a wonderful stay at Peppertrees Inn, and will be definitely be coming back. The inn is very conveniently located near the university gates; the suite was clean and comfortable; the courtyard garden was lovely and inviting, listening to a multitude of bird songs, and the sumptuous breakfasts were the highlight of every morning.

You can stop looking for other places to stay in the University of Arizona area. This is where you want to be. Charming accommodations, wonderful breakfasts and service and a very, very relaxing place to be/retreat. I stayed in "Pheobe" which was like having a small house to myself.

This inn is a great place to stay. The owners are warm, inviting and interesting. The Sunset suite was beautifully decorated. When we arrived we were delighted to find fresh made lemonade, fruit and even homemade cake. The private garden was a pleasant place for coffee in the morning. The central garden was spectacular with a fountain, flowers and trees... More

Returning to Tucson, we decided to stay here at the Peppertees again. The location is great, with walkable access to 4th Avenue, the downtown Tucson, and the university. Staying at this place has a lot of advantages: it is a well run accomodation and we do not need a car to enjoy Tucson.

Thank you for you very kind comments and taking the time to share with others. Starting this Sunday they will be testing our our new light rail system that runs in front of the Inn and down into downtown. Hopefully when you visit next time, it will be up and running and that should make it even easier to get... More

The owners of this charming inn make you feel right at home -- literally. Perfect location, gourmet-plus breakfasts, safe and easy parking and peaceful southwest ambience are just a few of the wonderful treats for any guest. Close to restaurants, market, university, and in the future, on the trolley line. Our daughter could walk from her dorm to the casita... More

Loved this establishment and wish we could have stayed longer to try out the breakfast. We were here for weekend orientation at U of A which is within walking distance and you can take the public transportation from the airport - no need to rent a car. If the sample refreshments and fruits/pastries and nuts set out on our arrival... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A few steps away from the main gates of the University of Arizona yet when you enter the garden patio, you would think you were in some garden oasis away from everything. The ambiance is quiet and relaxing for being in the city. It's the kind of place you can just wind down at. Walk off the property and your just a block or so from one of Tucson's best shopping districts. There are lots of restaurants, shops, museums and the U of A Presents Theater, all with a few blocks. Then wake up to a breakfast that has become legendary. ... more   less
