I'll never understand how a restaurant can be more than half empty and the person/people at the front desk look all over the reservation sheet as well as the dining room acting like they are trying to find a place to fit you in. Oh, and they did................an hour from the time we appeared. Maybe the staff here need a... more

This was my second trip to Canyon Ranch. I'm am 6 1/2 months pregnant and I brought my husband with me this time. It was life changing just like last time. This time they upgraded us to a one bedroom suite instead of the executive room we paid for, so we could be closer to everything, since I had doctors... more

I have been there three times. The last was by far dissappointing than the first two. I finally met the infamous javaleina's or wild boar that freely roam the area the first evening. No worries as you leave them alone and they leave you alone. Just startling to find on the lawn outside my room. They were not seen again... more

I loved Canyon Ranch from beginning to end. I stepped out of my hectic, crazed life and into heaven. My massage was wonderful. I tried acupuncture, for a health issue that just won't go away, and had relief. The presentations were very informative and fun too! Rob Hughes was witty as he discussed back pain - who knew the two... more

You just can't beat this place for its location, its beautiful grounds, the excellent and healthy food, and the unsurpassed spa and fitness services. The service, however, is another story. Our check-in was amateurish and disorganized. The spa reception is staffed by young men out of high school who look bored and clueless. The spa itself is not particularly smooth... more

I went to canyon ranch this summer and had an absolute blast. I have decided that the only way I want to vacation in the future is to go to a place that keeps me active and canyon ranch literally has hundreds of classes and programs. My friend and I did about 5 different fitness classes per day and they... more

I am at the airport now as I write this review....I left Canyon Ranch just a few hours ago and I couldn't wait to post this review! Prior to booking this trip, I was really on the fence about Canyon Ranch vs. Miravel, and I feel 100% certain I made the right choice. I would like to preface this review... more

After many visits to Canyon Ranch, one learns by day 3 you have moved into a profound state of relaxation. It was my hope that my friend and I would achieve this in one. The first challenge came when we checked in. I was treating my friend and it was not a happy moment when she was presented with ALL... more

This was my second trip to Canyon Ranch and it did not disappoint! . The reason I like CR so much is because there is such a wide variety of classes and activities offered. It is such a comfortable environment in which to try something new without any embarassment. The fitness staff is helpful, competent and polite. It seemed like... more

I had been to Miraval several years ago, which I remember as lovely, luxurious, great energy, and where my friend and I felt pampered from the moment we got there. We also appreciated the little extras like the smoothie bar and the sandwiches in the cooler out by the pool and the complimentary slippers to walk around in. So...when the... more
