My husband and I have stayed at the West Quoddy Station for the last two years and will return next year and probably every year thereafter. The place has a kind of magic atmosphere that sneaks up on you. We love the Keeper's Cottage with its beautiful colors and antique light fixtures. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay is provided.... More

Our first trip to Down East and we were fortunate to find this wonderful inn. Upon our hosts recommendation we stayed in the Keepers Cottage. This is a wonderful reproduction of the original light keepers cottage that served the West Quoddy Lighthouse years ago. It is a marvel of efficiency that was built to the exact dimensions of the original... More

Staying in this beautifully restored Coast Guard Station was a memorable way to end each day and greet each morning in Lubec. The views are unspoiled and stunning. Bill, our host, was affable and gracious. We had nice weather until Hurricane Arthur decided to pay a visit. We stayed in our suite, Kimball, enjoying our family and friends while the... More

I had the unique experience of travelling solo and having the entire barracks/house to myself for the evening. You won't find a better location to watch the sunset from a private deck, enjoy indigo-dark skies for stargazing (a thrill for city-dwellers with light pollution), and watch the sunrise (a walk or short drive) from the lighthouse at the Easternmost point.... My husband and I recently spent three nights in the Washington Suite which is located in this neat renovated Coast Guard station. It's located in a terrific area for hiking and outdoor activities. We spent one day on Campobello Island visiting the Roosevelt International Park and the East Quoddy Head Lighthouse. We spent a second day hiking at West Quoddy... More

Traveling from New Hampshire to Halifax last October, we were very fortunate to find the West Quoddy Head Light Station B&B through Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Keepers Cottage both en-route and on-return from Halifax. The owner made reservations simple and directions were easy. Arriving at night under the full moon, the cottage exceeded our expectations, and we were... More

My fiance and I love Lubec and have made many trips to the area. This was our first stay at West Quoddy Head Light Station. We rented The Cottage for a week this Christmas. It was adorable and rustic with a terrific waterview. The full kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We liked the fact that... More

The Light Station was a great place to stay. We stayed in the Jefferson Room. It was clean, spacious and just a comfy place to hang out. The kitchen was more than adequate for cooking dinner and breakfast. Plenty of hot water for showers and most important to us, the beds were very comfortable. Our 1950s dinette set was awesome.... My wife and I just took our first trip to see the coast of Maine, so we travelled from Kittery to Lubec. We stayed in several B&B's, and Cottages along the way, we like to stay away from chain hotels in preference of more unique accommodations, and the West Quoddy Station was hands down the best of the bunch. It... More

We stayed 2 nights at West Quoddy Station as we circled the New England states. We wanted to see the lighthouse on the most eastern part of the US, and this was a good place for that. The place was very unique with great views, but it was not a Bed & Breakfast. There was no complimentary breakfast, (which is... More
