Traveling from New Hampshire to Halifax last October, we were very fortunate to find the West Quoddy Head Light Station B&B through Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Keepers Cottage both en-route and on-return from Halifax. The owner made reservations simple and directions were easy. Arriving at night under the full moon, the cottage exceeded our expectations, and we were... More

My fiance and I love Lubec and have made many trips to the area. This was our first stay at West Quoddy Head Light Station. We rented The Cottage for a week this Christmas. It was adorable and rustic with a terrific waterview. The full kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We liked the fact that... More

The Light Station was a great place to stay. We stayed in the Jefferson Room. It was clean, spacious and just a comfy place to hang out. The kitchen was more than adequate for cooking dinner and breakfast. Plenty of hot water for showers and most important to us, the beds were very comfortable. Our 1950s dinette set was awesome.... My wife and I just took our first trip to see the coast of Maine, so we travelled from Kittery to Lubec. We stayed in several B&B's, and Cottages along the way, we like to stay away from chain hotels in preference of more unique accommodations, and the West Quoddy Station was hands down the best of the bunch. It... More

We stayed 2 nights at West Quoddy Station as we circled the New England states. We wanted to see the lighthouse on the most eastern part of the US, and this was a good place for that. The place was very unique with great views, but it was not a Bed & Breakfast. There was no complimentary breakfast, (which is... More

A stunning and unique place to spend a few days while you explore deep DownEast. We spent two nights and loved every minute. Breathtaking views across the water to the town of Lubec in the distance from the upstairs deck, very comfortable, well-equipped accommodations (Washington & Jefferson suites) and we felt right at home immediately. Fabulous walks around the property.... More

Bill has truly shown me that this restoration of the Coast Guard Station was a labor of love. We stayed in the keeper's cottage and it was beautiful! Personal touches in every room, all the up to date amenities that we needed for our stay. A full kitchen with mini fridge, comfortable furnishings and a view to die for. He... More

A fantastic find necessitated by the woeful state of accommodations on Campobello Island. Bill Clark bought the dilapidated light station from the government and lovingly restored it as an inn. It is not a B&B as there is no food in sight of the light (no problem considering the excellence of the Water Street Tavern & Inn about 10 minutes... More

Bill Clark, Owner, runs a fabulous B&B in the former Station 1, District 1, US Coast Guard Station on West Quoddy Head. The rooms are huge with a well-furnished kitchen, comfortable furniture and all of the necessary and desired amenities. The B&B is adjacent to the Quoddy State Park and Lighthouse. Most eastern point of the USA! GREAT sunrises! We'll... More

My family of four stayed in the Jefferson Suite for three nights last week. The room had ample space for four, and actually could've accommodated six. There were two queen sized beds, and a sofa which pulled out to a bed. The location was beautiful, and sunsets were easily visible from the common deck, which was just outside our window.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
My 2012 reconstruction of the 1808 West Quoddy Head Light Keepers House Keeper's Cottage has been receiving guests and fine reviews since early May. The landscaping is underway. The interior has 2 separate Queen bedrooms, living/dining, kitchen and bath. WI-FI, DirecTV, telephone. The interior is authentic with many antique accessories. The view is unbelievable, definitely equal to or better than the Station House. The KC is just below the Lodge. ... more   less
