The location makes it less appealing. Out of where action is and unless you have a car you are dependent on a cab or cold walk for every small thing! I would suggest to take the bridge walkway close to cross over to the nearby street for some shopping and eateries but it is a good 10 min walk. They... more

Here we go again! Another Providence, RI hotel in need of some TLC. We booked this hotel for late June due to it's location to the highway for driving/accessibility and the price due to attending the annual Newport Flower Show about 35 minutes south from Providence. I'll make this review short and to the point. I had no idea the... more

Hotel overall and our room seemed recently renovated. Comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was generous and good. Location seemed a bit "dicey". Arrived late at night, and area seemed somewhat "industrial", and parking was at a premium. Ended up parking across an alley from the hotel, in front of some kind of warehouse. Did not... more

Stayed for a wedding; double room on third floor was not fancy but was clean and quiet, no smoke odor at all, with comfortable beds and a nice view of the harbor. Front desk staff was helpful in terms of organizing shuttles. Not super centrally located but we walked to Brown and areas around Brown in about 20 minutes (quick... more

Not a bad experience, but far from the best I've had in similarly priced hotels. Walking distance to nice shopping district and a comfortable hike to Brown and RISD. But don't book in a room on the second floor! We endured 4 hours of very loud music from 7 to 11 pm on a Saturday night with minimal compensation "because... more

Arrived for a three night stay visiting local colleges. Paid $113 a night for a college family rate. Our first room was on a floor smelling distinctly of cigarette smoke, even though door signs said “nonsmoking room.” We had ordered two double beds, but our room had one king. We requested another room and moved to a different floor that... more

Had business in Providence and got this hotel on priceline for 40$. It was completely adequate for a one night stay. Room seemed recently renovated, but I could tell that the whole hotel hadn't completely been renovated. There was free parking and it seemed pretty centrally located. more

This is my first review and I don't think I've ever complained in general about a hotel but I think I just expected more and was greatly disappointed. We requested a non-smoking room and although it was, there was a very strong odor of cigarettes coming into our bathroom constantly, so much that I had to get up in the... more

It was really clean and well maintained.I don't know who wrote the bad review but we actually looked for some of the complaints that were mentioned and are pleased to... more

I've been making frequent last minute trips to Providence to deal with an ailing family member, and usually book through hotwire and often find myself at this hotel (3-star, Downtown Providence area has thus far always been this Raddison). I like it --- sleep number beds are comfy, staff is pleasant if a bit clueless, wireless is free and works... more
