Christopher Dodge house has beautiful and spacious rooms. My room was equipped with a small but complete kitchen (stove, mini fridge, coffee maker) and a wonderful gas fireplace. Our dietary preferences were not asked about, and no attempt was made to accomodate food allergies - we were asked to make do with fruits and bread/bagels. This is clearly run like a hotel and lacks the charm and warmth that B&Bs usually offer. The Bed was very high and required a stepstool to get into, but was otherwise comfortable.... more

While the renovation of the property is very pleasing, this inn lacks soul. First, NO inkeeper. Just a couple of staff on duty for breakfast and housekeeping.
