Whenever I go to Providence, I stay at the Christopher Dodge House. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs, like getting breakfast to go if you have to leave before breakfast is served. The rooms are nice. The beds are very comfortable. And, it's very clean. Cleaner than some fancy hotel rooms.

Spacious, airy, BIG, rooms in an urban setting. Gas fireplaces are a really nice touch. Welcoming, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Right near the state Capitol. Convenient to College and Federal Hill neighborhoods. What can I complain about? Hmmm... the pillows aren't so great.

Wonderful Stay in February. Room #5 with marble fireplace, high ceilings and comfy king bed. (AC present for warmer weather.) Best place ever to stay on a business trip. What better than to walk in and smell fresh cookies or muffins being baked, and then take one up to the sitting room to enjoy with a fresh cup of coffee. Lovely and comfortable room with a gas fireplace and kitchen and very friendly and helpful staff.
