I only spent one night, but enjoyed my stay very much. The room was large, very comfortable, and the gas fireplace (thermostat-controlled) created a wonderful cozy atmosphere on a very cold and snowy day. The breakfast room is also very nice. I loved the style with exposed brick walls, dark wood (but simple) furniture, and many lovely details in how... More

First of all, i am a local who LOVES PROVIDENCE and let me just tell you, this place is like providence turned house! the interior screams New England! all the vintage furniture and the nice fireplace in the room is the perfect atmosphere to relax. The freshly baked goods were a very nice touch! the bed was super comfortable and... More

Love the fireplace in the room, and that it works via thermostat! Variety of home-baked goods available 24 hrs, super-comfy bed, great location and off-street parking. Lovely room, good breakfast... so much better than a hotel!

Just getting around to posting long overdue reviews from a swing through the Northeast in August 2014. We stayed two nights and thought the groundfloor room was comfortable and the breakfast good. It was summer, so we had the airconditioner cranked up quite a bit and we never heard any road noise. The Inn is above the freeway on a... More

This is a very friendly B&B in Providence about 10-15 mins walk from the station. Staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was on the top floor which meant 2 flights of stairs ( just something to be aware of if stairs are a problem, there is no lift) The room was spacious & warm. The bed was huge &... More

From the moment you walk into this historic home, your breath will be taken away! We were in room D1, and when we entered into the room we were taken by surprise by the tall ceilings, the fireplace, the floor to ceiling windows and the wide plank pine floors. An absolutely stunning location! The service is phenomenal, the food is... More

I showed up in Providence thinking I had a reservation at the Omni, turns out I didn't. Every hotel that was remotely close to the convention center was booked so I ended up here. What a blessing in disguise. I have never stayed at a B&B before and didn't think I ever wanted to. Anyhow, this hotel is a 150... More

With easy access to every part of the city of Providence, this classic, brick structure with high ceilings and long stairways (the only problem worth nothing) was inviting, accommodating and comfortable. Our room was large, the bed ideal, the pillow exchange program unusual and helpful, the fireplace warming and the bathroom clean and spare. The staff, all of them, were... More

While the lodging itself was just ok, morning breakfast was fabulous. I wasn't happy about the neighborhood as we drove in. Later on our local cab driver told us we were staying "on the edge of seedy". The graffiti around the neighborhood was a turn off and a bit creepy. House personnel very nice.

We spent a weekend here while visiting our son who's in college. It was close to campus and looked nice online. The building is gorgeous and filled with nice antique furniture. The staff was friendly, but the breakfast was sub-par and the bath products low end. Two other issues further marred our stay: noise and a smelly old pillow. They... More
