We stayed in Annie's third floor suite for a little over two weeks and very much enjoyed our stay. Since we were traveling to a place with a 13-hour-time-difference, we wanted to be at a place that is very private. (We did not want to wake up other guests.) This place was located on the top floor with one queen,... More

I was made very welcome. Lovely home and value for money. Excellent breakfast with numerous teas available. Real old style New England house in quiet part of town. Really need a car as half hour walk to downtown but taxis cheap.

This was a very nice bed and breakfast. The location was excellent, close to Wayland Square. I enjoyed our room, as our bed was very comfy and it was clean. The bathroom was located across the hall, but was clean as well. The house had an English feel to it, and felt very European to me. For breakfast, the innkeeper... More

Annie was a gracious host. She was very accommodating to our numerous questions and requests. We had the ground floor room as my sister cannot negotiate many stairs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the dressing room and bathroom were quite nice. The home itself is full of the lovely features of Victorian period homes- moldings, wainscoting and wide halls.... More

We stayed at this B&B last week while traveling the New England states. While we found the accomodations wonderful, Annie was a bit unpredicatble. It took her over 5 minutes to answer the door and once she did, shes stated she had been taking a nap, She then stared at us, not introducing herself or welcoming us inside! Later, we... More

My first thought was NO......I had a bedroom in the front of the house on Angell St, and had to be up at 5 that next morning. There were no extra rooms, but Angell St is not that busy at night. I actually had a great night of sleep. Bed was awesome. To step back, Annie Brownell House is on... More

From the beginning even our first phonecall was filled with humor and good taste. At our arrival, a lot later than expected, Annie greeted us like V.I.P.S. She was all smiles and so distinguished. Our sejour would never has been the same without her good advises and recommendations. Breakfasts were personalized and creative and I especially enjoyed her soft personality.... More

We loved staying in Annie's B & B. We were made to feel at home. It was also great to meet the other guests from other countries too. Annie made the most gorgeous pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, along with cereals, fruit salad and yoghurt. Very clean and comfortable, we had en suite bathroom. Bed was comfortable, area was quiet so... More

The house is beautiful - full of antiques - very spacious and lovely large rooms. However it did look rather tired as if it could do with a good spruce up and it was incredibly stuffy - as if no windows had been opened for some time and there was a very over powering smell of dog from the delightful... This B&B is far better than most of the B&B's I've ever been to. The house is big, and old, and it is so cozy that you will feel at home right away. The lady that is running this house is amazing, and really cares about what she does, and how you feel. She makes great breakfasts and is always... More
