Loved the Courtyard building and what we thought would be a great location downtown. Unfortunately, there must have been something going on outside and the noise and music reverberated off the surrounding buildings late into the night. It was very difficult to sleep. The location was what we wanted, but if you know there is something going on downtown and... more

Just stayed for one night and it was fine overall. It’s a Courtyard so no frills was to be expected, but the bathroom was so bare it felt sterile (with bad lighting). The AC unit in our room ran nonstop, regardless of if we turned it off/on or adjusted the temperature. It was loud enough to be annoying, but not... more

When we checked in we had an issue with the air conditioner unit -- it ran with a dreadful squeaking noise. I called down to the front desk asking to be moved to another room. The front desk person said that an engineer would come by soon. Some time passed, and I called down again. The engineer came and said... more

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard for our daughter's graduation from Brown. Our stay at the Marriott Courtyard was great to say the least. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with an enormous Brown University banner which shows me that the hotel is in touch with the community. The check in was fairly easy and... more

We stayed at this great Courtyard in February for the annual Providence Spring Flower and Garden Show 2009 and I have to say this was a great hotel. I have no complaints at all. This is a safe, secure and convenient hotel in downtown Providence for anything you might want to do. Yes, the parking is extra but it is... more

This hotel is in a great location, in walking distance of the Amtrak station, the State House, and most downtown spots. It is also right next to the old station complex which has a great brew pub and some good restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were of good size and well laid out.... more

This is a great Courtyard! You can't beat the location and the staff is top notch. The service I recieved at this hotel far surpasses those of any other Marriott I've stayed in including it's 4-star sisters. I travel to Providence frequently and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service in a great location. The hotel... more

The best thing about this hotel is the LOCATION. It was very central to everything downtown - the mall across the street where there are many restaurants to the nice stroll to the state capitol. It's a little tricky to drive there from the interstate because you have to pass the hotel before you get to the main entrance; and... more

Stayed for 2 nites and was very pleased. The room was modern and the bed was fairly comfortable. There was plenty of dresser space for 2 people. (Although we didn't use much) Everything was clean and organized. The location is GREAT! There are nice restaurants right outside the hotel doors and a gigantic mall 3 blocks away. It is located... more
