We stayed here for one night, arriving by train from New York. The B&B is close to the station so just a short, cheap taxi ride. The proprietor knew we were coming by train and was happy to let us check in early at 12.30PM instead of 2.00PM. This was an "experience" accommodation so we didn't mind paying a little... More

My parents have stayed here for every trip they've taken to Providence since 2007. I went to college across town, and the drive up the hill is well worth it. Quaint, clean rooms with friendly service and easy access to downtown, Thayer street and a Whole Foods, the Old Court is a great change from the corporate hotels that Providence... More

We spent a night here while visiting Providence. Very nice position: close to Brown University, RISD and the city center. Nice big clean room. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked and delicious. Parking in the back.

Our party of six adults recently stayed for a long weekend at the Old Court. The location is wonderful, literally steps from Brown University where our weekend activities were centered. The staff was extremely accommodating and helped us change rooms when we desired a quieter location, and did not charge us for this upgrade. The breakfast was delicious every morning,... More

The friendly and professional staff at Old Court B&B couldn't be nicer, and the rooms couldn't be cleaner or more well-appointed. For those interested in the city's cultural / RISD/ Brown district, the Old Court is a very convenient location, and it is a short walk to the commercial district. And breakfast is divine! I have been using them regularly... More

This a lovely bed and breakfast located very conveniently to Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. The staff was very accommodating regarding my request for a first floor room, which was nicely appointed although not as luxuriously cozy as some B&Bs I have been to. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for... More

This lovely inn was not only located pretty much in the heart of Providence, it reflected everything we loved about this city. The staff were so friendly and bent over backwards to ensure a happy stay. The breakfasts were the best we enjoyed in our 9 week stay in the States and the homemade cookies and fresh cakes that greeted... More

Very hospitable place to make sure you are not thirsty or hungry at all during your stay. they keep cookies out (fresh and homemade) and they keep juice and milk in the fridge for you. They fetch your bags and take you for the tour/orientation and the staff are aware of who is coming and going. they are absolutely organized... More

In all honesty...did not get to stay here. Contacted them by e-mail and booked a room. There is no way to do a credit card on-line. Told them I had difficulty calling but would do so first chance I had. When I called they had sold the room to someone else. They did not care as long as they had... More

Just stayed one night on our way to Maine and the New England foliage. Perfect location for a quick visit and restful night. The old inn was nicely decorated with charming antiques. The innkeeper was friendly and accommodating. The Stove room was small but ample enough for a one nights stay. Bed was comfortable and bath had a Large shower.... More
