We arrived at the KOA site for a 4 day stay because of a wedding. The site was closed early for the winter and was told by the manager that ALL the RV sites in the area had closed early. We explained that we were here for a wedding and without hesitation the manager opened up for us (other than... More

This review is about our RV stay. Friendly staf, clean bathrooms and a good location. The spaces are quite tide. Lots of small kids activities, including a train every other evening which our son (3 years old) loved . A typical KOA campground.

Please understand that this review includes our motor home stay, and is not intended to relate to tent camping nor to the Kabins. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - in fact, we extended for four days. To do so during this very busy August time frame, the staff worked some miracles to not only allow us to stay, but... More

If this is what they call camping I can't see why people would want to camp! Campsites are the smallest ever! No fire pit and stacked in like sardines! The people were friendly, the place was clean, and a good location. But I don't understand why they think this is acceptable to park the campers so close.

Horse stalls, smelly manure, tons of flies, major ant hill/farm issues, and small camp sites with fire pits right next to your neighbors. With so many choices in Estes, DON’T STAY HERE! Clean bathrooms, but not enough. Tent site right next to large horse stalls. Very crampt. Tent area bathrooms are porta potties. When I complained, the young clerk replied... More

This was my second summer staying at the KOA, and I loved it. We stayed in one of the Kabins, and it's definitely one of the best values in Estes at peak season. The kabins and sites are really close together, but everyone who stayed at the same time as us was quiet. If you're going to Estes to visit... More

We stayed in a cabin and LOVED IT. The campground is in a great location close to everything - much better location than Jellystone. The staff are wonderful and the grounds are perfect for families. Our kids are 10 and 12 and they loved everything, even the playground with tetherball. The campground is clean, well run, and the blueberry pancakes... More

We arrived around 4:30 ish set up our tent. I was at first a little disappointed. I prefer campgrounds with lots of shade. Our site was mostly out in the open but it turned out okay. I think I was cranky and hungry when we arrived. I will say that it's right by a road and between that and airplanes... More

For anyone to complain that this is overpriced and that it doesn't have amenities.... I have to ask..then why did you CHOOSE that locale? Yes, they do not have a pool...but you are in Estes Park... there are plenty of places to swim! We knew what we were getting when we stayed, but we were passing through. I can't say... More

I loved the comfort and flexibility of staying in the Kottage. It had everything we needed. We actually checked out of a more expensive hotel to stay here because it was closer to the park. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. There is no pool, but the weather was a little too cool to swim. This... More
