Camped there 8 nights in a pop-up. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were kept clean and the equipment in the laundromat was fairly new. They have ice cream socials along with roasting marshmallows on Fridays. I've seen complaints that the camping spots are very narrow/small. Ours was fine but I don't know of any... More

We frequently stay at KOAs. Having stayed at Estes Park a few times in different campgrounds we decided to try this one after driving around and talking to the really nice owner. As stated in many other reviews the sites are small, this was a concern of ours until we drove around and noticed the end of the row sites.... More

Loads to do nearby and a perfect base. Site small and compact, no pool but staff could not be more helpful and a lovely location with so many things to do. Worth riding at stable next to Rocky Mountain park ( not stable next door) visits to fishery a must with kids and for adults a well earned break at... More

We tent camped at this KOA in Estes Park. The campground was very noisy and right next to the highway. Bathrooms were not very conveniently located - a fair walk from the tent sites. The tent sites were very small and packed in very close to each other. There was a port-a-podie in the tent site area that was very... More

Estes park in summer is solid. No vacancies. The KOA is well situated, close-ish to town with a free shuttle right outside the gate. Sites are tight, but with nice views for the main part. The bathrooms are inadequate for the numbers we encountered in August. Also, dated, although the 'family' ones are quite good. Add to this a plumbing... More

We stayed one night here. The tent sites were very close together, and the KOA is right off the main road. Besides that, we had a nice stay at this campground. Very friendly and helpful staff. Estes Park is a gorgeous place to stay and downtown shopping is not far away from the campground.

Very tight quarters the picnic table was on the opposite side of our doors? There are no fire pits at the rv sites just the cabins. Just a community fire....Not a lot of tree coverage the higher up you go. Packed in like sardines. Seems like a better place to rent a cabin not rv spots. The view is very... More

I would have given this campground 5 stars if not for the following reasons. The first being that the rv spots are extremely small and close together. We have a pretty small pop-up camper and there wasn't enough room for us to put our awning up. There was also barely enough space for our tow vehicle at our space, but... More

Flying home from Denver meant we needed a final overnight stop nearby so EP seemed ideal. As we were tourists from a foreign land, little did we realise what Estes Park was all about! The KOA was on the outskirts of the town, with our site giving us a marvellous view of the Rocky Mountains. Excellent facilities, pleasant and helpful... More

Have been coming up here for the past few years… the rest of the party has been coming up for a very long time. The staff and the KOA, owners and all, are just fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The onsite general store has a lot of items you will need, not out of this work... More
