An absolutely wonderful place to stay as a family when visiting the Estes Park / Rocky Mountain National Park area. We stayed in one of the cabins, and found it to be cozy, clean, and charming. The campground is in a beautiful location, is immaculately well kept, and offers lots of nice amenities for families (playground, game room, ice cream... More

The campground is literally right next to a horse stable, so it literally smells like horse poo. The map is not a true representation of the space you have. The tents are on top of each other. The only reason to stay at this campground is that all others are booked.

We stayed at a tent site. It's located on a loud-ish highway, but the price is right, the location is good, and the facilities were adequate. They could use a few more private bathrooms and i wish they served eggs with breakfast (a minor complaint, I know).

We've camped in a lot of KOA Kampgrounds over the years. This one was one of the more interesting. Interesting as in the campsites are all gravel & layered up on a hill. There are railroad ties between each tier & stairs leading down to the bathrooms. There are no fire pits by the sites. There is a community fire... More

We stayed 3 nights at this KOA. The staff was very pleasant and eager to answer questions. We stayed in site 14 which was large enough to accommodate our 37' RV and towed pick-up truck. The views from the campground are spectacular. Groceries, fishing, horseback riding, dining, etc., etc., etc., are all within a short distance. There is also a... More

We stayed in the kabin 2 for a total of 6 days. The good: The staff are all very nice and accommodating. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily. The shop had all the basics. There was a TV and game room, and you could purchase breakfast and participate in an ice cream social daily. Quiet at night. The bad:... More

We spent 4 nights at this RV park while visiting the area. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Didn't like the site we were assigned to as it was a tight squeeze for our RV. The management was very accommodating and assigned us to a much better site. All of the sites are close together, but have a private... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were great and very friendly. Clean RR. Everything you need to explore the area. Take the time to stay here on your next visit to Estes Park. Sites were a little close but this was not a problem as we were not at the site much during the day.

We arrived at the KOA site for a 4 day stay because of a wedding. The site was closed early for the winter and was told by the manager that ALL the RV sites in the area had closed early. We explained that we were here for a wedding and without hesitation the manager opened up for us (other than... More
