This past September, my family was displaced from our home, due to the flooding, in Estes Park. Upon seeking temporary housing, I learned that Ponderosa Lodge, at 1820 Fall River Road, in Estes Park, was offering relief to victims of the disaster. I approached the management, of Ponderosa Lodge to inquire about accommodations for my wife, three kids and myself.... More

Ponderosa Lodge shares easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and provides a quiet, serene atmosphere. You can enjoy the feeling of the outdoors by listening to the river and watching the wildlife. The property is clean and a nice place to stay in the Estes Park area. Enjoy your stay! Lori H.

I had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Estes Park. Loved looking at and hearing the mountain stream right outside my door. I saw lots of wildlife right on the property. I'll be back.

I have stayed at Ponderosa Lodge five times within the last 6 months and love it. The access to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park is second to none. Whether you are on a budget and want to stay in a single room or want a cabin for multiple people the location is great. I enjoyed my many nights sitting... More

We have stayed at Poderosa Lodge for 20+ years after an article appeared in AAA Magazine. The rooms are "rustic" Best Western+ quality. It is clean-well-kept. The river is just outside your room and provides a nice sound to sleep by. The staff is nice and helpful. We enjoy being in the country away from town (Estes town center is... More

The Ponderosa's willing, friendly staff and homey accommodations make this a nearly-hidden gem. Lots of pines, hummingbirds zipping by, a fair amount of history and low highway noise allowed us to get some great nights sleep. Their hot tub is ready, coffee in the morning is hot and a smile is for you whether you have a request for a... More

Happened to stay here by accident. Needed a room for one night; only place available. Elizabeth at the check in was very helpful. All staff was very nice. Overall it was a nice lodge experience. Remember this is a lodge within a country atmosphere. Water pressure was good, and hot water was plentiful!

We just spent one night at the Ponderosa Lodge almost by accident. Everyplace else was sold out and this was about our only choice. Room was very clean, Murphy Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was good, and falling asleep to the sound of the water from the river was beyond relaxing. The room was a perfect size for a couple.... More

My wife and I visited while we were in Estes Park for a wedding party. We had visited with our Kids and my parents about 20 years ago and had great memories. The great experience was verified! Our host, Josh, could not have been more accommodating. We had a beautiful room with a balcony right on the Fall River. Many... More

I loved staying at the Ponderosa. Josh was a great host and gave us tips on where to eat & visit. The room was very clean and had 2 windows overlooking the water. The room was good sized. The bed was comfortable, heat worked well. Bathroom towels were nice and thick - Laura Ashley brand if I recall correctly. Next... More
