This hotel turned out to be better than it appeared. The building is older and shows it's age in the doorways and hallways - but rooms have been remodeled and the lobby/restaurant/bar and pool areas were all updated and very nice. Hot tub was perfect and they were not strict about closing hours for adults. Plus the $20 restaurant credit... More

we stayed for 1 night in this hotel. It is on the outskirts of town but we walked home in around 10 to 15 minutes from town centre. The hotel is a bit dated but our room was clean and tidy and had everything you need for a short stay. On arrival we were told of happy hour in the... More

We booked this through Expedia and were worried when we read the reviews. We stay in hotels often, and found this to be a fabulous hotel for Estes Park. Estes Park is not Vegas or New York. There are not the massive hotel chains/resorts as this is a wonderful mountain town. The hotel looked much like the photos, and we... More

This hotel could be a fantastic place to stay. I'm not sure. However, I'm reviewing my not so great experience with communication. Everyone I talked to at the front desk was very helpful. I was with a very large group staying near Estes Park and we were possibly going to need extra rooms so we called Rocky Mountain Park Inn.... More

Yes this place needs a facelift (particularly in the hallways) but our room was just fine and looked like the website photos. I like the nature photos for artwork on the walls and the complimentary cocktails from 4-5:30 at the lounge is a nice treat when checking in. For a one night stay, this place is close to RMNP and... This hotel is really in disrepair. Definitely not easy on the eyes. When walking it the hallway there was a smell of vomit and feces ( no joke), but it looked as though there was a puddle of water on the carpet they were attempting to clean so it's possible it was just a bad mildew smell they were getting... This was a disappointment of the money. Found a pill on the floor which ended up being a controlled substance upon research so thank goodness my 5 year old didn't get it. The were other items also on the floor like a hair barrette when we came in. It's a pretty old room and our "balcony" was not of the... More

This was rated a 3 star hotel on Priceline - are you kidding me???? We were given a room in the very back, next to the workshop/garage. Our room was below ground level, and when we first walked in, we noticed that the window to the outside was wide open. The screen was tore out like someone had broken in... More

I made the mistake of trusting pics, descriptions, and other reviews of this property and was extremely DISAPPOINTED - if I could give a minus rating, I would. One would expect a good experience at $200 a night -- get ready to pay more for a fridge (hopefully it will work) and a microwave (opted out on that one); their... More

Hello: Thank you for your feedback. Each of your issues during and after your stay were each addressed. We really did try very hard to make you happy. We typically price ourselves 50-100% less than the other full services hotels in town, each of which offers rooms with no air conditioning and one has no pool or hot tub. In... More

Estes Park was the last 2 days of our week long trip, so at this point we were tired and wanted a classic hotel as opposed to the Inns and cabins we have been staying in for the past week and it is safe to say that the Rocky Mountain Park Inn was just that. We actually found this hotel... More

Hello: Thank you for your feedback. Thank you for your kind review and commenting on our friendly staff. A town shuttle picks up guests twice an hour and shuttles visitors all over town and even to the national park this time of year, but downtown and the river walk are just a few blocks away. We try to price ourselves... More
