This Super 8 has some of the groups poorerst rooms we have encountered. The fittings are in very poor condition and the electrical system seems ancient with adapters everywhere. The walls seemed paper thin and the whole building creaks and needs more than a coat of paint. I serious upgrade is required. Fortunately we had booked a King room which... more

I stay at Super 8 frequently and the quality ranges from good to very good. This was the exception - the Super 8 chain needs to get rid of this badly managed property. I checked in early and was given a room that was actually three tiny cubicles, one for the television and couch, another for the bed, plus the... more

If this had been my first stay at a Super 8, it would have been my last stay at a Super 8. This facility is run down and it is over priced even for the Estes Park market. The lobby and eating area were disheveled and stale. The "breakfast" was pathetic - I have never seen worse. What little was... more

Over week ago I woke with itchy ankles. After one night's stay, we couldn't get out of this dump fast enough. Later realized I had been bitten by bed bugs, as the welts, hives and rash spread all over legs. A week later I am still having a skin reaction (i have severe allergies) and am going crazy with itching.... more

We must have stayed in the room with a hole in the floor. We found live insects. The continental breakfast was a joke. We complained to Super 8 and the propietors. No response from either. more

We dropped off our bags in the hotel rooms in the early evening and noticed a moldy smell in the two reserved rooms. We got back later that night and found that the linen smelled of a combination of wine, cigaret smoke, and body odor. When I inspected the other 3 beds, they had the same smell, and I was... more

I took a trip to Colorado expecting Super 8 motels to be good-value, neat, clean, and well-maintained. I trusted the Super 8 name and did not check Internet references prior to making reservations in Estes Park. This property is the most run-down, uninviting Super 8 that I have ever stayed at. This property should not be allowed to carry the... more

I have been traveling for years. This the the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked 2 nights but got our money back on day 2 after being in 3 rooms . The 1st room had no tv, the 2nd room had a bed that springs were thru mattress, and the 3rd room was just as bad. All... more
