We dropped off our bags in the hotel rooms in the early evening and noticed a moldy smell in the two reserved rooms. We got back later that night and found that the linen smelled of a combination of wine, cigaret smoke, and body odor. When I inspected the other 3 beds, they had the same smell, and I was... more

I took a trip to Colorado expecting Super 8 motels to be good-value, neat, clean, and well-maintained. I trusted the Super 8 name and did not check Internet references prior to making reservations in Estes Park. This property is the most run-down, uninviting Super 8 that I have ever stayed at. This property should not be allowed to carry the... more

I have been traveling for years. This the the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked 2 nights but got our money back on day 2 after being in 3 rooms . The 1st room had no tv, the 2nd room had a bed that springs were thru mattress, and the 3rd room was just as bad. All... more

The place needs a complete overhaul. Falling apart; room dirty (including sheets!). "Heated" pool is NOT! It is filled by a garden hose hanging over the overhang above the teeny pool. Hot tub did not work and no signs of repair. Continental breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. Very expensive and SO not worth it. more

I reserved a smoking room online a month before our visit to Estes Park. I came in, told him my name, and asked him if they had a AAA discount. He told me no even though it said online there is a discount & there is a huge AAA sticker on the front door. Never the less, I paid for... more

I am not a picky person. This place is horrific. We had booked two rooms for a one night stay (Thank God it wasn't longer!) Here were the problems: (1) We didn't have airconditioning even though they adverstise AC in their rooms. (Turns out that only SOME of the rooms have AC. They sent someone to come see why our... more

Everything was OK except for a few things: (1) The bed was so old/worn-out/soft that I kept rolling into the center of it, which might not have been so bad if I wasn't sharing the bed. My back also hurt some after sleeping on it. (2) Housekeeping did a terrible job of vacuuming after the previous occupant. There were wrappers... more

Booked this Super 8 on the phone. Previously stayed at Super 8 and thought they had a company standard for their hotels. WRONG!! This place looks like it is going to fall down. I was anxious when we walked in the door but hoped the room would be different. WRONG AGAIN!!!!! We asked for a balcony and it was so... more

My family booked 8 rooms for four nights at this place and wow do we regret it! It all started with the manager burning trash in the fireplace in the lobby, real nice. Our rooms were dirty and this place is outdated and run down, can not beleive Super 8 lets this place keep its name. One of the rooms... more
