Randy and Teresa were so good to us during our stay over Valentines Day weekend. They were very helpful and friendly during the whole reservation process and through our stay. The cabin was cozy and clean. It was stocked with quality toiletries, linens and bedding which can always be a tossup when staying away from home. We felt like we... More

We stayed in Cabin #2 at the Blackhawk Lodge for 3 nights. The cabin was cozy, cute and clean. This cabin had a patio in the back which looked out to the river, very beautiful view. The lodge is very close to downtown and the Rocky Mountain National Park, though not walking distance. We enjoyed our stay here even though... More

Unfortunately our stay at the Blackhawk Lodges was scheduled for two weeks after the big flood. Under the circumstances we chose to cancel our stay in Estes Park. Since we didn't actually stay at the property we can't comment on the accommodations, but we can let you know that the owners treated us great from the initial scheduling of our... More

My husband and I stayed at the Blackhawk Lodge in cabin #7. It was very clean and comfortable. It is across the road from the main cabin area and was very quiet and private. The owners, Randy and Teresa were very friendly. The cabin is just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. It is close enough to the downtown area... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Cabin 6 for a week at the end of August. The cabin itself was perfect for two people and was well-maintained and clean. Even though we were located close to the road, we could still hear the river from the sleeping loft - so relaxing. And I loved the hummingbird feeders out front of... More

My famly has stayed at the Black Hawk Lodge for 4 years in either Aug or Sept. We keep coming back because It is by far the best resort with friendly host in the Estes Park area. The cabins are spacious with fireplaces and kitchens. It is a great place for a famly reunion or just unwiding. The Fall River... More

This was our first time staying here. My family and I absolutely loved it! The cabins were awesome!!!! More than enough space, for a great cost. There is no AC, but it gets cold enough at night that it isn't needed :) the owners are spectacular. They were so kind and great to talk to!!!! They had fishing supplies and... More

We researched the options and decided this sounded perfect for our little family. The husband and 8 year old wanted to camp out by the river, and I wanted something more "luxury" than camping. This was the perfect solution. A little cabin right by the river, with a private balcony to grill and eat on. 1 little bathroom (woo hoo,... More

In July of 2013 I went on a tour of national parks. Great Sand Dune, Mesa Verde, Canyonlands, Arches, Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Rocky Mountain. With all that travel, I obviously stayed in alot of motels. Blackhawk Lodges were by far my favorite. I was in cabin 8 which is across the street from the river. I went... More
