Stayed in Cabin 2 Aug 15-22, 2014. Here are a couple things you need to know: 1) Cabin #1 and #2 are on the river. Only difference is cabin #1 doesn't have a queen bedroom downstairs. 2) Wood burning fireplace inside all cabins. The owners will give you a bundle of wood to burn every night, just ask for it... Great location between the city and Rocky Mt. Park. The owners were very friendly, knowledgeable and gave helpful advice. Beautiful cabin both inside and out. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again in the future.

We visted BlackHawk Lodge early August 2014. This is our 5th time staying here. Our family loves the cabins and the beautiful Fall River which runs behind the cabins,. A great place to relax, fish and visit with family. Our grand kids love the stream and the location to Rocky Mt. Park. It is a quick easy trip. The lodge... More

This place was perfect, you can't ask for a better stay and such a reasonable price. This was a family trip, so my brother and I (mid-twenties), plus my grandparents. Even though the age gap, everyone was extremely happy with the visit. RMNP is only a few miles away, Estes Park town center is only a few miles in the... More

With three nights, we wanted more room and a nicer setting than a motel would offer, but we were on a more limited budget than most Estes Park condos seem to fit. I settled on Cabin #8 at Blackhawk, and we really enjoyed it. Given its proximity to the road, I was expecting quite a bit of noise. There was... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Blackhawk lodge. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. It was in the perfect location. It was only a few min. from Estes Park and just a couple of miles from the entrance to Rocky Mt. Nat. Park. We had bighorn sheep in our front yard. It was very reasonably priced. The... More

This by far was one of the finest cabins we have ever stayed in (very reasonably priced) and one of our all time best vacations. My son, daughter-in-law and grandsons stayed in Cabin10 and my wife and I were in #9. The cabins were wonderful and cozy and scenery was beautiful. Only 2 miles to entrance to Rocky Mountain National... More

We just stayed in cabin 10 for a week and had family stay in cabin 9. Cabin's were very nice, clean, and comfortable. We had all the amenities but still got the "cabin" camping feel we were looking for. Great location close to all that Estes Park has to offer and only 2 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. As... We stayed at cabin #10 and it was a really nice, clean and comfortable cabin. Originally we booked for one night but we liked it so much so we booked another night so we stayed for total of 2 nights. The owner was very friendly and gave us a lot of information regarding the park and where to eat.

Really enjoyed our cabin close to the water. Couldn't have lived without the hot tub. Perfect location. Loved the back deck. Had everything we needed. Hostesses were delightful and very helpful! Quiet location.
