We go camping here once a summer with 6-8 other families. It is great,. The campground is small enough that the kids can go in a group to the playground by themselves or the shelter area for activities while the adults hang at our site if we choose to hang back. The staff is wonderful and so friendly and helpful.... More

In the afternoon while visiting Denver we heard that Rocky Mountains National Park had opened during the shutdown as the Colorado paid for its opening costs. We were on a large round trip with an RV and we had given up on Rocky Mountains NP, but we decided to change plans and take the last chance to go there. We... More

I was expecting KOA style, but this was much better. Our family is seasoned in camping, wasn't expecting much from such a commercial campground. But what a nice surprise! Beautiful, plenty of opportunity to interact with nature. Kids had a great time exploring the rocks and forest right across from our campsite. Great family activities, close to Estes. Staff super... About 6 miles from town, so it is close. As all commercial RV parks in Estes Park, it is right of the road. Clean and well maintained. Certainly oriented for families. Our neighbors were a retired couple with no kids on board. We did not have full hook up, but the honey wagon did its job for $5. They did... More

We have been going to Yogi Bear for over 5 years now. This is such a fun campground for kids and families. We now have a family tradition of going on Halloween Weekend. Every year it is such a great time. Between candy bar bingo, pumpkin painting, haunted hike, trick or treating and the Saturday night dance, it is a... More

We camped here in a tent. Our ONLY complaint is that the pad for the tent was very rocky. Be sure and bring a pad to put under your sleeping bag because the rocks are huge and uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was great. The bathrooms were very well maintained and clean. The laundry facility was clean as well.... More

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a camper and have not done a lot of camping since I was a kid, and this is our first stay as a family in a camper. We stayed for six nights and are a family of four. The check-in process was easy and smooth, though they did not explain... More

Rented the "Cindy" cabin - much more spacious than we had anticipated. Easily handled our group of 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 babies. Kids enjoyed Yogi and dads enjoyed mini golf and horseshoes. No more pricey than everything else in Estes. Friendly staff and nice campground. Was a very nice experience.

I will start off by saying, that I am a "newbie" camper. So our family of four, with a 5 year old and a 10 year old, did not come with tents. We also did not drive from Florida with a mobile home. Instead, we flew into Denver, then drove over in our rental car to spend the weekend in... More

We visited Jellystone of Estes all the way from Indianapolis, IN! It was a long drive, but not too bad. We had stayed in a Jellystone campground in Great Smoky before and thought that given that we had kids we should go to a campground with activities for kids. Little did we know that we would only be at the... More
