This lodge is very nice! From the moment we checked in to the time we left, we were extremely satisfied! Carpet seemed to have been recently replaced. Older property/rooms, but it seemed to us that they still took the time to keep it up. Our room was very clean, and compared to other hotels who accept dogs, this one had... More

My wife and I stayed here one night. Check in and check out were flawless. The room was good sized, with a nice balcony and beautiful views. We were able to park right outside our room. The carpet was filthy and my wife's slippers, which she wore during our stay, had to be thrown away...they were disgusting. We stayed here... More

Extremely disappointed. Our room was not clean. There were toenail clippings on the carpet, holes in the sheets. Pet friendly motel but the room had a very overwhelming pet urine smell and when we complained, they brought up a bottle of Febreze to try and camouflage the smell, which only made it worse. We found it to be very overpriced... More

This is a good place to spend the night visiting Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park if you are looking for a hotel at a low price. The beds and linens are fairly old, but they are still comfortable. The room also had no A/C, making it not a great place to hang out during the heat of the... More

Basic motel property. Our room was ready on time. It was very clean and the bathroom had recently been remodeled. We were within walking distance to the downtown area and Lake Estes. The motel sits on the golf course so the views are beautiful. We were able to book for right around $100. I found it to be a great... More

Interesting place, clean and roomy. On edge of town but shuttle is a block away or you can walk to town. No A/C and was stuffy, although it does cool down at night you have to leave the sliding door open to get a breeze and there isn't a lock on the screen! We asked for a roll away and... More

The Discovery Lodge is always clean and convenient with friendly staff; nice grounds with private fishing pond for catch and release, plenty of close parking, playground equipment for children, bbq grills, picnic tables, gazebo, new hot tub, large ice machine, free coffee and tea in the mornings, and cable TV. It is located close to downtown Estes Park for shopping,... More

This hotel was clean and comfortable however our room 101 was located directly underneath the landlord's residence, as well as room 102 and 103. All other rooms are totally separate. We stayed four nights. We were very annoyed to be disturbed every night by loud footsteps and thumping until 10:30 at night. Some of the other reviews expressed the same... More

Very nice place to stay in Estes Park! Convenient location. Room was clean and the staff was helpful. Our fan was missing a blade and shook when turned on, but they replaced it and brought us a hair dryer promptly. The only complaint was no A/C, it was very stuffy but at night it really does cool down. We will... More
