Being pensioners and travelling around Colorado, the group of four us (2 Couples) were looking for a reasonable place to stay for 2 nights. The owner advised us that he had not put his prices up for 7 years. This is borne out by the fact that he was fully booked some time ahead, when many others were showing vacancy... More

Stayed their but he does not know how to act when you have to leave unexpectedly. He got angry and refused to refund but finally did once you explained everything to him. Shouldnt have to do that no where. So actually not a bad place, just a bad owner. I won't ever stay there again. A lot better places.

For the first time in over 2 decades my wife and I decided to celebrate our marriage with a trip alone and away from our children; it was literally a last minute decision. I made our reservation for their Jacuzzi "Honeymoon" suite with only 2 hours notice; it was accepted gladly with no problems. John, the front desk manager, (and... More

Love staying here! We have stayed here multiple times and know that it will be a clean and quiet place to stay. The staff is so friendly and cheerful when you walk in. It is a dog friendly hotel, which is always a plus! It is an older hotel, but very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone. You... More

I have lost track of how many years we have stayed at Columbine Inn in Estes, but I know we have never been disappointed. It is one place we can stay without worrying about cleanliness (very important to me). The bed was quite comfortable -- supportive, but soft enough to suit the softie I am. We have seen the owner... We booked this place, sight unseen. We needed a room for just one night, and one that would be pet friendly. We were very pleased with what we found. This is an older motel, very much like many others from the 60's or so. However, we doubt most of them have been this well maintained - Extremely clean and in... More

I agree with other reviewers about the cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable. The towels and linens are high quality. The breakfast consists of coffee, juice and Otis Spunkmeyer packaged muffins (not bad quality for packaged pastry). The owner is very helpful, if just a tad reserved. The location is convenient to the market and restaurants. But the best feature... More

The room was very clean and the owners were extremely friendly! The furnishings were from the 80s but it was a comfortable place to stay. The hot tub in the room was great. They recommended excellent restaurants to us and we would stay there again.

The Columbine Inn is an older motel, but it is very clean. Our room was pretty basic: bed, bathroom, mini fridge, TV, small table/chairs, and dresser. Although it is not on the river, like many places here, it has nice views of the mountains. It was quiet, also. One bad thing was our sink drain: it stayed closed. We had... More

We do not care how a hotel or motel looks, rather we care about how clean the rooms are. Yes, it is some what dated, but very clean. For my family, we want clean, clean, clean. Our room had a flat screen TV and cable/dish, so the teenagers were happy. When we travel, we do not spend time sitting in... More
