I had reservations at this place, unfortunately we had to cancel due to health issues.I called and cancelled our reservations and later on recieved an mail saying they charged me a $75.00 cancellation fee. I had given them 2 months notice that i was cancelling,i called them and they said thats just their policy. i find that a little bit ridiculous.

I am sorry you are disapointed in our cancellation policy. We do not "hide" our policy, it was available to you on all of the information we sent you. Regardless of the the number of days or months that you cancel a reservation, we do have a cancellation fee to cover the costs associated with making a reservation. We are... More

We have stayed in Estes Park for many occasions throughout the last 40 years. We just discovered Solitude Cabins and we will be back. The cabin, 2 bedroom plus a full murphy bed, was cozy and comfortable. There was a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, rain head shower, jacuzzi tub downstairs. The view sold us. We had the most gorgeous... More

Blown away by the simplicity and style - short drive up form Boulder, needed to get away for a few nights, and seriously this is perfect! Not much to do up here in winter and it's really really cold so we are just hanging out enjoying being here and relaxing - we'll be back.

Just got back from staying at Estes Park with family for Thanksgiving. The cabins were well maintained and staff helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Plenty of room with great views. If you go make sure you go to the Golf Course a little up the road and check out the herd of elk that hang out around the 18th... More

Our family loves Estes Park and we always stay at Solitude Cabins. Before we found Solitude Cabins, we stayed at various other cabins, homes, & hotels. Nothing compares to Solitude Cabins! We just finished our stay at Solitude Cabins. We were so glad that we chose to stay here, away from the busy downtown and other lodging areas. We ate out on the deck every night and enjoyed the views of the mountains which were spectacular. We took full advantage of being able to cook and grill at the cabin, saving... More

We had a long awaited large family reunion of siblings after our mothers death. We asked for 3 cabins close together. Our cabin was situated a stones throw from the digging of a foundation. Mid-afternoon a large backhoe and bobcat was started and used right outside our window. It was difficult to carry on a converstion or relax in our... More

We found ourselves disapointed with your group as well. It seems that all was good until we discovered that you snuck a dog on to the property. Especially, when someone in the group was adamant about making sure that no dogs or cats had been in the property due to severe allergies. You were aware of the pet policies at... More

I stayed here with four teenage kids (as harrowing as whitewater rafting, right?), and it was a perfect location for us. The views from front and back decks was gorgeous; cabins are near Lake Estes and town is a 20-30 min. walk along paved paths, or a quick drive. Everything one could want was provided in the cabins, and after... More
