Office staff were very friendly and accommodating! Our room was quiet even though it overlooked the pool area. The updated rooms are very nicely done - small but cozy with all the necessities. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to Estes Park and will personally stay there again in the future!

There are, without a doubt, fancier hotels in Estes Park, with more amenities, but what this place has is character and a true mountain feel. The room was recently remodeled, and so was very nice and clean. But, it had beautiful knotty pine paneling on two of the walls (not tacky 70s-era paneling). The radiant heat furnace was awesome kept... More

We are a family of four with two younger (ages 4 and 6) children. We stayed in the two-bedroom suite this time, our 2nd stay at the Coyote Mountain Lodge, and first time with the two-bedroom setup. We could not have been happier with our stay! The Coyote Mountain Lodge is definitely a "value" hotel. It is very bare-bones, and... More

I stayed here over the Christmas weekend and found it to be just what I was looking for. It overlooks Lake Estes and was an easy walk with my dog done to Estes Trail which goes around the lake and connects with the downtown area. Watching the elk walking across a field behind the lodge was a highlight that I... More

Jake rocked! Old fashioned Motel stay but loved it!!! The newly renovated room was old style (updated), but still, it had everything we needed...micro, fridge, coffee maker....slept very well and the suggestions on where to go and things to do are coming from those who live there! Thank you Jake!!!

The room was good, clean, and in a safe area. Its nothing fancy. Bathroom was very modern and shower head was great. It was close to everything in Estes Park without feeling too "touristy". Staff was really friendly and the room had good views of the mountains! If you need a clean, decent room without bells and whistles-this is your... More

We came to this place at the invitation of others who were staying up here. They had rented out both of the "apartments" that are at this place. We opted for our own room, and check in was easy and the staff were very nice and friendly. WIFI worked well and it was a good location. We did get to... More

The Coyote Mountain Lodge is great for tourist wanting a clean, economical, well located place as a base for sightseeing in the area, especially Rocky Mountain National Park. It's within walking distance of several nice restaurants, too. Deer and elk often frequent the grounds -- exciting. The morning coffee is great, too. You can avoid the thick traffic of down-town:... Spent two nights recently. Clean, comfortable mattresses and linens. Upgraded in the right places, maintained a retro feel in the others. My favorite was the '50's furnace in my room. Still works! Would stay here again.
