The Coyote Mountain Lodge is great for tourist wanting a clean, economical, well located place as a base for sightseeing in the area, especially Rocky Mountain National Park. It's within walking distance of several nice restaurants, too. Deer and elk often frequent the grounds -- exciting. The morning coffee is great, too. You can avoid the thick traffic of down-town:... Spent two nights recently. Clean, comfortable mattresses and linens. Upgraded in the right places, maintained a retro feel in the others. My favorite was the '50's furnace in my room. Still works! Would stay here again.

The Coyote was just what I needed. Clean rooms. Super nice front desk and cleaning crew. Coffee maker worked well and kept coffee hot while I worked on emails. Recently remodeled, with comfy bed and nice towels. Well done!

Great find. Cute, rustic, amazing value. Nice walk around the lake--others have to drive--but from here, you can just walk right out your door. Views galore. For dinner we walked to town, along an easy access path, pleasant, and just the thing for enjoying the shocking display of stars on a gorgeous night. Slept like a baby in my clean... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend. Very friendly people (Jake) and a young lady. Very welcoming and helpful. Pricing was appropriate and a value compared to others in the area. Quiet, great location. We will stay again.

The price is more than I'd usually go for, but it was reasonable for the area. I found the staff very chatty and helpful. No, it wasn't the fanciest place, but all I wanted was a quiet place to sleep after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The in-room heater did require getting down on the floor to adjust... More

The place is fabulous in all areas. The view, the landscape, and the rooms. However, the best was the customer service which treated me like I owned it. The room was big enough for a comfortable king bed and still able to move.

We had family come in from out of state and we decided to stay in Estes Park for the weekend. We choose this hotel based on cost and past reviews. We got one of the new remodeled rooms and it was very clean and comfortable. The beds were just right and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. We... More

Stayed one night on a road trip. The lodge looks pretty old, but appears to be nicely maintained, at least on the outside. There is coffee in the lounge pretty much all the time. We stayed in a standard king, room 127. There is a road at back that drives down to a small lake, we saw geese and on... More

My friend and I booked at the last minute during the Scottish Highlands Festival. We had a room that was not remodeled yet but it was very charming. We enjoyed the retro vibe of the room. The beds and linens were new and comfy. The rooms were super clean and fresh smelling. They had a heated pool and a hot... More
