The Estes Park Econolodge was an inexpensive alternative for a quick business engagement. I received what I should have expected- a run down motel with nothing extra. I would not bother with the contental breakfast, the bagels and muffins are stored in the same serving container and had condensation inside the tupperware. The room was 80's vintage with popcorn ceiling,... More

I made a reservation over the phone. They sent a confirmation email. Within the email, it stated their cancellation policy and provided a link for how to cancel. I decided to cancel the room and used the link provided. I received a confirmation email with the cancellation confirmation number. However, I was charged for the room anyway. I called to... More

We drove into Estes Park planning to stay overnight. The town was very busy due to a craft fair in town,so a lot of the motels were sold out.We thought maybe this place would be ok for a sleep over when I walked in the lobby the attendant didn't even give eye contact which made me a little uneasy, lobby wasn't overly... My wife and I stayed here because we thought this to be the econolodge we stayed in 2 years ago, but that is now Murphy's Resort. So we expected a clean room with fridge and microwave for a fairly reasonable price for as far possible in Estes Park. But we got a room that was not that clean as we... More

The staff are a bit to easy going, friendly and all but not really interested. The room was good, fairly large and the water hot. Fridge, tv and coffee maker worked. Breakfast was super basic, really only good for the coffee and a banana, when available. Our room was not cleaned every day.

DO NO STAY HERE! the attendant did not look up at sign in or make any kind of conversation. The TV did not work and I had to fix the receptacle so it would work. The room was badly cleaned. There was a bloody kleenex in the toilet. About breakfast......small stale bagels from the local grocery. $2.99 a bag when... More

We only spent one night here awaiting to check into our cabin along the river. Before we decided on this motel we had attempted to check into another chain motel next door and it was disgusting and the same price per night as this. Unfortunately due to location, most of these motels/hotels can pretty much charge what they want unless... More

This was the first stop on our two week visit to several national parks, and of the 8 hotels we stayed in, this by far ranked at the bottom of the list. The desk clerk was friendly and location was pretty good, but that's the best I can say about the place. The breakfast consisted of mini bagels and mini... More

Breakfast very skimpy but the 'best' part was the FERMENTED cranberry juice! Older - and every bit of it shows. Rotted wood railings, peeling paint, dirty walls, multi-colored paint, ragged carpet, parking lot falling apart, exposed/broken drain pipes. The list of repairs is endless. Price too high for what we got. No refrigerator or microwave in room.

I wonder why the Dept. of Health doesn't visit and shut this place down...we visited here for one night and it was by far the worst hotel we have ever been in and we travel quite a lot. The rooms were smelly and nothing seemed to work - seemed like these owners were stuck in 18th century items. Every item... More
