We have camped at Elk Meadow over the span of 10 years and it is always our first 2 weeks stop when we go to the Rockies and our last 2 weeks before we head back to the East. Our campsite is large enough to comfortably accomodate our 38 foot 5th-Wheel and our very long truck. (We are 53 feet... More

Could not depend on hot water. Usually it was lukewarm. Pool was NOT heated, very cold water . Only foolhardy children could brave it. NO WiFi as advertised as signal SO WEAK that it was unusable for 2 days we were there. Only advantage was it's location on shuttle stop.

Ok, so there's no pavement. But we yet to find the "perfect" RV Park. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman in a golf cart who upon checking in, escorted us to our site. We asked if we could have the spot over as it was between 2 trees and they immediately accommodated us without so much as a second... More

While it is true that the sites are not paved, the setting of the park is beautiful, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains right next to Rocky Mountain National Park and down the street from Estes Park, CO. There is a small lake on property, a historical cabin for rent, horseshoe pits, communal fire pits, swimming pool and hot... More

I do not like dusty, unpaved campgrounds. It makes our coach very dusty, and it makes it very hard to walk around. My site was not level, but we were able to level our 40' rig. They do not allow campfires at each person's site either. The office staff was nice. The Wi-Fi was extremely weak, slow and frustrating

This Park is admittedly expensive because of it's location to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park Colorado. Elk Mountain has everything you would be looking for especially for big Rigs. It's well run with a friendly group of employees that are willing to assist anyway they can. The Drawbacks thou take away from these two very good attributes. The... More

Stayed here with the family in August for vacation- 2 nights. Location is right outside Rocky Mountain National Park. Tent site had a picnic table & fire pit which was a plus. We made s'mores one night. Clean bathrooms & showers but sometimes there is a wait. Overnight we heard the elk bugling and the baby bears playing around. The... More

Yes it's a bit pricy for a rv park/campground. But our stay was great! No problems at all. Everyone at the front desk and in the golf carts were extremely helpful and nice. A fun and very safe place for the family! Close to the town and rmnp. Didn't use the pool but heard it was ice cold. Hit tubs,... More

This campsite is near the town of Estes and very close to the east entrance of the Rocky Mountain national Park. Sadly it is so overpriced, $58 including Good Sams discount PN, we were told the price is high season price but the campsite was half empty for most of our stay The sites are on a hill which is... Really enjoy every time I've been there. The site is convenient and is well-maintained. I love their lodge. They have music in the evenings in the lodge, which I always look forward to. There is some very interesting history to the lodge and the bar as well ... so be sure to ask the bartender about it. One of my... More
