The location is perfect. Very close to Estes Park and I don't think you can get any closer to Rocky Mountain National Park. The scenery and mountains around you are beautiful. I did not have a problem with the dust as much as other reviewers, but I can see how it would be a problem at times, especially depending on... More

Well, where to start? I really like this place but I really don't like this place. It's location is perfect but the reason I don't like this place is the dirt road and dirt pads - not gravel, dirt. The asphalt has been removed for the most part leaving dirt and dust - a lot of dust. While it is... More

Pros: Easy to find, conveniently located, a variety of sites, clean restrooms and showers at several locations in the park, wi-fi worked (yes it actually worked well), good service at check-in, drove us to our location, 50 amp service, easy for a larger rig to get thru the site, nice pool, hot tub, water pressure OK., no road noise, picnic... Was met at the entrance where there were a couple of RVs ahead of us and instead of making us wait to register they led us to our site and asked us to register once set up. The staff in the office was very cheerful and accommodating. Did not use the pool so can't comment on that. The bathrooms and... More

We originally booked a teepee for a couple nights, but the weather called for snow. The owners were so accommodating and helpful! They moved us to a cute cabin right next to the community fire pit. They told us great places to hike and where to see some wildlife. Very nice people!

Although we knew the cancellation policy, we were hoping the owner/manager would have some compassion on a trip being cancelled within hours of making the reservation due to a death in the family. We made the RV park reservation online and 4 hours later received news of the death. I immediately called and left a message at the park since... More

We have camped at Elk Meadow over the span of 10 years and it is always our first 2 weeks stop when we go to the Rockies and our last 2 weeks before we head back to the East. Our campsite is large enough to comfortably accomodate our 38 foot 5th-Wheel and our very long truck. (We are 53 feet... More

Could not depend on hot water. Usually it was lukewarm. Pool was NOT heated, very cold water . Only foolhardy children could brave it. NO WiFi as advertised as signal SO WEAK that it was unusable for 2 days we were there. Only advantage was it's location on shuttle stop.

Ok, so there's no pavement. But we yet to find the "perfect" RV Park. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman in a golf cart who upon checking in, escorted us to our site. We asked if we could have the spot over as it was between 2 trees and they immediately accommodated us without so much as a second... More

While it is true that the sites are not paved, the setting of the park is beautiful, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains right next to Rocky Mountain National Park and down the street from Estes Park, CO. There is a small lake on property, a historical cabin for rent, horseshoe pits, communal fire pits, swimming pool and hot... More
