Lodging in Estes Park is EXPENSIVE. After reading many positive reviews, we decided to skip our dream of staying in a cabin and booked a family suite here for five nights. Given the chore of loading and unloading luggage for a family of five, we were pleased that our parking space was just outside our unit's door and reserved just... More

I would like to thank this reviewer for their comments, both positive and problem items. I apologize for the window not being fixed - something went awry in our communications with our maintenance staff, obviously. Normally that is fixed within the hour or as soon as we have access to the room. I will find this window today and fix... More

Great location near supermarket, gas, and entrance to RMNP. VERY clean, small but comfortable rooms. We were in the section closest to the road -- I watched cars drive past but could not hear them at all. Staff was wonderful, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

This was my second stay, and I plan to keep coming back again and again. The Inn cannot be beat for cleanliness, comfort, and convenience to the Rocky Mountain National Park. But the friendliness and warmth of the owners and staff are what set the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn apart. They are never too busy to help you, and their... More

We stayed here after a horrid night at the Super 8. This place was like the Taj Majal! Super clean, comfortable recliner, clean bathroom, new carpet, just can't say enough about this great hotel! Super view. Stay with confidence. Only complaint is the nearby restaurant was a little pricey but great food!

The owners of this motel work hard to make this a quality experience. Rooms are very clean, lots of friendly advice about where to go and what to do, comfortable rooms, next-door to a nice restaurant with a discount for those who stay in the motel. There is a "quiet time" requested from 10 pm to 8 am. Across the... More

I would have to agree with this reviewer that there is a lot of daytime traffic this year, more so than in past years. Travel patterns change each year, and with the economy, we are seeing two distinct trends: One is that of longer stays People are staying longer in one place instead of moving on every night or two.... We stayed for 3 nights in July. The rooms were plain but very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I suggest the deluxe rooms with a balcony. Very convenient to RMNP. Had a great time!

We have visited Estes Park several times and this was easily the best value motel we stayed at in any of our visits. Our room (a downstairs, standard king) was spacious and the quality of the furniture and fittings, and the presentation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The pool is a good size and we enjoyed several afternoons there.... More

We stayed at this "Mom n Pop" motel late June to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park on our way to a national baseball tournament in Steamboat Springs. We have 2 teenage kids and the room we stayed in was a standard double queen room. Although the rooms are clean, they are very small and the bathroom is tiny with... More

This person brought up a really good point. Up to now, I had just accepted the small bathroom as something we just had to work with. I went down and studied the room, and being in the bathroom with the door closed, it is tight quarters for changing clothes. (I'm 6/4" and 240 lbs, so it was easy to understand... More

We had an excellent stay at the ATRI last month. The motel is located very close to the Beaver Meadow's entrance to the RMNP and has spectacular views of the mountains. To me the location was also great since it was within close proximity of Estes Park, but far enough away to avoid the associated congestion and hustle/bustle. The rooms... More

My family and I chose to stay here for two nights while visiting Estes Park on our vacation in Colorado. Though we weren't disappointed in the motel we were a little surprised by the prices in Estes Park. For the cost of things in Estes Park, ATRI was very well worth it. The people working the front desk were kind,... More

Thanks to this reviewer for their kind comments and for bringing a few things to my attention. Yes, as I have mentioned many times, we are an older property, constantly upgrading and improving. However, there are a few things which we inherited when we started managing this property 33 years ago. Many of the bathrooms are definitely smaller than normal,... More
