Nowhere on the website did I read that the Evergreens at Fall River were a set of duplexes - very nice duplexes - but definitely not cabins. I booked this specifically because I wanted a "secluded cabin" as the website stated. The floor plans indicated these were free-standing cabins. The photos on the website looked liked single cabins. However, when... more

The good: The cabins are really quite nice. They do have jacuzzi tubs available in the rooms, but at a $20 per night service charge. The people that run the place couldn't be more friendly. Last year we had a broken recliner in our room and they drove down to Loveland to get a new one for us. The rooms... more

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about The Evergreens! We went for a night for his birthday and got one of the cabins with the hot tub and the cabin was absolutely wonderful. There are windows everywhere so you can see the beautiful mountains and trees, the kitchen is all set for cooking just bring your food.... more

We travel all over the world and have stayed in some wonderful places and some not so wonderful places. We love Estes Park and have visited many times over the years. We happened to find The Evergreens on Fall River and we are "hooked". I am a fisherman and just loved having the river right off our deck. We now... more

We stayed at Evergreens over Thanksgiving. It was very clean, and had a great, scenic view of the river and treed area. An elk was in our backyard one evening. That's the good news. If you are expecting what you usually receive for a hotel above $100 a night, don't count on it. No batteries in the remote. No remote... more

I booked a room for three nights several months in advance of our intended stay. Upon receiving our key, we noticed that there was luggage still in the room. After contacting the front office, they said that the maid didn't speak English and they would move the luggage immediatley since the previous guest was changing rooms. After the luggage was... more

I would highly recommend The Evergreens on Fall River, it is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We went up to Estes Park 3 days before the rates lowered for the season and they gave us the lower rate. ( a lodge down the road would not). We had a cute little cabin right on the... more

Nice area, but units were small. The vanity are to the bathroom felt like it was right on top of the living room. No privacy. No air conditioning, this wasn't mentioned. The jacuzzi bath mentioned on their website was not included in the room price. It was $20.00 additional per night to use it. The television was situated on a... more

We stayed here for 10 days with our ten year old son. I have never had a more peacful vacation. The condo was beautiful and hearing the river was just beautiful. My son got chased by an elk for getting a little too close. We have a beautfiul trip and I will not hesitate to stay here again. Not many... more

This was our 3rd time to visit Estes Park. The first 2 times we did not have any children and stayed at Antlers Point (which we loved!) however, we now needed a place to accomodate our kids (ages 7 and 4). We chose The Evergreens because of the location (very close to Antlers Point). The cabins were clean and comfortable.... more
