I am confused by your observation that the "outside of hotel walkway is very old, torn and dirty". We spent a considerable sum of money just before we opened in April 2015 refurbishing the deck to the second floor rooms and completely replacing all of the outdoor carpet on the deck and ground floor walkways. Much of the building exterior... More

We took a quick trip to hike at Rocky Mountain Nat'l. Park and watch elk. Our night at this hotel was ok, but. nothing special. The bed and linens were just adequate. The remote for the TV ddidn't work and the office offered no assistance. We didn't try breakfast, because it didn't begin until 8--we were a mile up the... More

Thank you for your observations regarding your stay with us in October. I am disappointed the office staff did not assist you to resolve your TV remote problem. I am sorry our breakfast schedule did not correspond with you hiking schedule. More

The hotel was a fine place to stay for a night. Room was small but clean, bed was not the best but it worked. The price was low for the area, had everything needed. Wifi worked fine. Bathroom was small but functional. In room coffee was good. If your plans were to stay in the room most of your visit,... More

On the up side: clean, dry, free wifi, good selection of tea. On the down side: uncomfortable bed, small, noisy ac/heater, minimal shower. Got very little sleep, woke up with a headache (and no we hadn't been drinking). Don't recommend it at all.

I am sorry you found your stay with us so unpleasant. We will be upgrading our bedding and a/c units over time. Unfortunately, there is little we can do to adjust the room and bathroom sizes. Your "on the upside" comments are appreciated. More

The price is low and so should your expectations. If you just need a place to sleep, then it will be fine. If you are here to enjoy the town or the national park, then you won't spend much time in the room anyways. Clean.

Thank you for your comments. We offer good, clean lodging at a reasonable price. Our location is very convenient to either downtown or Rocky Mountain National Park, both of which I am glad you enjoyed. More

Simple but clean rooms. Affordable and has everything you need. Not fancy or new but clean and super friendly! I will stay here on every visit to Estes Park! Room had a small refrigerator, microwave, small coffee pot, air conditioning, telephone, and Television. Tv was not a flat screen. Needs to be updated but I don't watch tv anyways. Free... More

The price is right, but don't expect much. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, a quiet location, but details are overlooked. The clock was broken, you cannot hang any clothes as the bar is directly over the TV and there is no room for anything to hang. There was no towel bars for wet towels. Shower only with the... More

Thank you for pointing out the deficiencies you noticed when staying with us. I will encourage our staff to correct them as best they can. We offer continental breakfast which probably won't measure up to the steak and egg breakfast you hikers need. Most of our guests have found our staff to be very helpful and friendly. I am sorry... I was looking for a reasonably affordable place to stay in Estes Park so that I could spend a few days hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. This place fit my needs exactly. The location was a 10-15 minute drive to the Park entrance. Perhaps my favorite thing aside from location was that the room had a fridge and microwave,... More

Very clean rooms and nice breakfast. Since the hotel is family managed, they did a good job keeping the property clean. We checked in late and they had to switch our room to accommodate our pet (extra 15 minutes), which was fine. They also have strict rules if you have dogs, including not leaving our dog alone in the room.... More

I am pleased you found your lodging pleasant and your breakfast satisfying. My apologies for the encounter you had with our front desk employee concerning your dog. We have had lots of four legged guests with very few problems so I am surprised any issue arose. More
