Lovely resort with views of the mountains and close proximity to Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We had elk and deer visit our condo during our stay. Wine and cheese happy hour on Saturday was delightful. When it snowed, our walk was shoveled before we even thought about going anywhere! Condo was very comfortable and clean. We love this resort.

The units at Ram’s Horn are even nicer than I had seen when researching where to stay. The cleanliness of the units and little details were definitely noticed. We enjoyed the nearby hot tub, the fireplace, movies and games for checkout and the wine and cheese reception we were invited to. We will definitely be back!

Check in is easy. The homes are wonderful. There is a unique layout so you can see the dining room and living room from upstairs. The bedrooms are very large. There is a nice exercise room. We saw deer and elk through our windows and the view of Long's Peak is amazing.

What a great place to stay! Everyone gets their own cabin which is super clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Comfy beds! February is obviously the off season so it's a good time to go if you just want to relax. Sitting in a hot tub watching it snow was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting, with quick access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Bull Elk grazing outside the resort thrilling. Spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains are visible from the living room and bedrooms. Relaxing!

Enjoyed our stay here in this cozy cabin with morning sightings of roaming elk. Kitchen was well-equipped and beds were comfortable. A bit rustic but very charming! Management provided a high chair and pack-n-play for convenient accommodation for visiting grandchild. Staff was friendly, and the community area was well-stocked with games, puzzles, and CD's to keep us engaged. Beautiful mountain scenery and snow-covered lakes were within a 15-minute drive. We enjoyed eating at Ed's Cantina for bison enchiladas and margaritas. We'll be back!

Our cabin was clean, well located, cozy and warm during the first big cold spell of the winter in Estes Park. It was just outside of one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park, which was great for getting in and out of the park.

We stayed here for 3 weeks, never done that before. And it was WONDERFUL. Weather was fine, Trail Ridge was open over half the time, many elk to see, Estes is great in the fall. Rams Horn homes are beautiful, spacious, and well equipped for a long stay. Saturday nite wine and cheese is really dinner (heavy horsdorves), Sunday morning waffles for $3 is a bargain. Stay here, you won't be unhappy that you did.

A truly wonderful place to stay! Staff is extremely helpful and even helped me get a timed pass to RMNP while we were hiking. Townhouses are very well appointed and would be great for a larger group. Conveniently located near town without being right in the town. Walking distance to two tremendous restaurants. They have a very nice wine and cheese gathering on Saturdays and a waffle breakfast on Sundays (for a small fee). Even though we didn't use the pool or hot tubs they looked quite inviting. Highly recommend!

Nice place but no view. We looked at the trash container for a view and I suggest they enclose it. Could not figure out the shower and the second shower was barley space to squeeze in. Called reception with no answer so after a long hard and hot day we barely got a shower. Location is 5 star. Closes to the park. Well equipped kitchen. Everything else was fine but for stuff I mentioned. Next time I will book a suite at one of the many choices an the river.

Response from Deborah Gibson, General Manager at Rams Horn Village Resort
Responded Sep 14, 2023
We are so glad to know that you found our location excellent and our kitchen well equipped. Many of our homes have wonderful mountain views. We are so very sorry that you found our showers difficult to use and too small. Most of our showers are quite large, but we do have one floor plan that has a standard shower stall in the upstairs bedroom suite. On occassion, some of our guests do have a problem understanding the shower control in a few of our homes. Usually we can explain with a quick phone call during business hours or at our after hours number. All of our trash areas are enclosed with the exception of the recycle containers near our guest services department or near our garage. We appreciate your choosing Rams Horn Village for this stay. Our views are primarily mountain views. There are many great choices with river locations in Estes Park. We hope you find the perfect place for your family. Regards, Deborah and Staff
