We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at glacier lodge with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and all ages loved our days at Glacier Lodge! The spacious, yet cozy Alpine lodge (both inside and on the patio) was the center of our meals and family conversations. The gorgeous living room fire place (with a generous supply of wood) drew us all... more

We stayed at Glacier Lodge before their true Summer season started so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The view of the mountains from our front window was spectacular. The daily activities had not started yet but there was still plenty to do in the vicinity. Our cabin was right by the stables, so the kids enjoyed... more

Prior to arriving, the staff was extremely helpful with any questions I had. We stayed in Hallet Peak and absolutely loved it. Very roomy and clean! The office holds a large selection of books, games and dvds. We couldn't have wanted a better place to stay! THANKS, YOU ARE AWESOME!!! more

The Cabins are clean and the grounds were well groomed. The swimming pool water heater was either cut off or inoperative becasue the water in the pool was verrrrry cold!!!!! Bummer!!!! The horse back ride was handled very professionally however it is a very hard and bump'y trail up and down the side of the adjoining mountain. I would recommend... more

My husband and I stayed at Glacier Lodge with my parents and our 3 kids ages 6, 4, and 2. We found the cabin/house we stayed in great. It was clean and the kitchen well stocked with everything we could need to cook and serve the groceries we bought. The family that owns and operates the lodge was friendly, helpful... more

We began staying at Glacier in 2001 with the whole family. We have returned every year since and already have a reservation for 2010. Some years we have 20+ people and other years just my husband and I. It is close to all kinds of activities for all ages from the very athletic to those who want to sit by... more

We have stayed here 3 times with our now 4 and 5 year old children. Each time consistently excellent in all regards to service and cleanliness. It is situated ON the Big Thompson river 5 minutes from downtown Estes Park, and 8 minutes from RMNP entrance. The cabins are very clean (bedrooms, kitchen, linens, towels) make you feel that you... more

We found it online and were not sure what to expect. We stayed in Ponderosa. It was clean and well equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful. Made us feel at home. We were roasting marshmellows at the camp fire one evening and he dropped off a big load of wood for us..We told the kids the TV was broken and... more
