My wife daughter and I stayed at McGregor for three days. We stayed I the Old Caretakers cabin. It was a nice, well-taken care of residence for three days. We had wonderful views of Deer Mountain, and enjoyed grilling on the patio and hiking on the nearby mountain trails. Beautiful sunsets viewed up there, very convenient for a short scenic... More

My sister and I recently booked the Lower Chalet Suite (sleeps 6). Our excitement enticed others to join us (5 in all). Susan provided helpful and friendly service in booking the room, checking us in and out, answering our questions, and providing freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. Our kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The rooms were... More

Thanks for choosing McGregor in your recent visit and stay in the Rocky Mt. National Park and Estes Park vicinity. We always appreciate you taking the time to share with others your experience while here as well. Summer is finally upon us, and the flowers are in full bloom both around the lodge and starting to pop up on the... More

Our first family vacation in Estes was a complete joy at McGregor Mountain Lodge. Each day we had elk, fox, deer, turkey and numerous birds in our front yard or on the mountain side right outside our front door! There was even a creek just 10 feet from our door that the kids could play in. Super clean. Super location.... More

My Bride and I just spent a quick three-day vacation in "our" cabin, number 17. We have been coming here at least twice a year for eight years. We love and appreciate the most picturesque property in Estes Park, if not all of Colorado. Towering mountains, lots of wildlife, clean comfortable cabins, and attentive staff that has become loving family,... More

My sisters, our childhood friends of 54 years, and our extended family just spent a week at the McGregor Mountain Lodge, something we have done for many years. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are a nice size, and there is ample parking for visiting family. The hot tub was very comfortable and sparkling clean. We had a new bundle... More

I'm a little sad today. I just left paradise. What more can I say? We have been visiting the Estes Park area for the past 20 years. We stayed here and there...until we stumbled upon McGregor Mountain Lodge. Now? We wouldn't think of ever staying anywhere else. This place is the gem of Estes. Why do we continue to return?... Thanks so much for taking the time to tell others of the "little piece of heaven on Earth" we have here at McGregor Mountain Lodge. It is indeed magical. The birds are chirping here well into the evening hours, and its amazing to see the sunset over the snow capped peaks in the distance. Soon, or summer will be bustling,... More

We have been coming to McGregor Mountain Lodge for the last 10 years and not had one bad experience. A few times when they were full, we stayed elsewhere. None of the others can compare to McGregor. The staff is always more than willing to help and is very friendly. The location is perfect! And there is so much wildlife!... More

Keith, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your time here at McGregor! We just never know what wildlife we are going to see this time of year down and around the lodge. My family and I were looking to rent the new vacation home for a few weeks out of the year for various upcoming events. We decided to scope out the area prior to putting in our reservation, (since the vacation home is quite expensive), and purchased two nights at the Pinon Cottage. While we found the area to be very... More

Tracey and Jeff, It is certainly unfortunate that you had an unpleasant experience with us here at McGregor. When your pet was NOT registered with us at time of check in, and we UPGRADED you all to a 2 bedroom cabin instead of the original one bedroom you all had reserved because of the dog, then you continued to leave...
