We stumbled upon this resort after discovering the cabin we rented in Lyons was disgusting. Thankfully the Estes Park Resort had one room left. It ended up being a handicap accessible room that was tucked in the basement and behind the elevator. The room had a tiny window that opened out to the pull up drop off for the hotel.... More

The Resort is located on Lake Estes with views of the surrounding mountains, which are breath taking. At check in I was welcomed very warmly, thanked for choosing their resort. I was explained all of the Resort rules, locations of amenities and specific directions to my room. The room was very clean and welcoming, ten minutes after getting into my... More

Upon our arrival at the Estes Park Resort, we checked into our room and then headed to the restaurant for a late lunch. Three of us ordered the chicken sandwich. It was not a real chicken breast as we would have expected for the price we paid. It was a piece of spongy processed chicken. We ate everything else and... More

Stayed here for a weekend in the Summer/early Fall. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was outdoors for the not-so-outdoorsy people. Resort is clean, well-kept, comfortable, good service. The restaurant was average - would not eat there again with all the other options in downtown Estes Park. But it was all about the outside here. We started the day by just sitting... More

The main picture of the property is very deceiving. I reserved a room with a 'partial view.' When I arrived, I looked out the window to a view of the embankment to the parking lot, along with some dried out vegetation. I requested another room, which I received from a reluctant employee. I opened the window to a full view... More

Matt W, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and concerns with other guests as well as our management team. From your comments about the room, it seems as though you may have booked through a third party site (such as Expedia) where the room descriptions are not always as clear as when you speak with someone... We loved our stay there. The room was great & the staff was fantastic. We were worried it was too early to go, but my husband played golf both days & the views were awesome. We even got up to Bear Lake.

I used to come to Estes as a kid all the time for the horse shows. Came back here ( I am a Colorado native- raised in Boulder) in 2013 in February very modern and big for Estes Park. Great location just as you come into town. Very Lodge feel and nice pool and dry saunas. Little game room is... More

My husband and I decided to spend our 5th wedding anniversary here. We enjoyed our stay until we got home and realized how much we were actually charged. More than DOUBLE what we were expecting!!! The Jacuzzi Suite was wonderful with gas fireplaces in both the living room and bedroom. The suite we had was a corner room with two decks to look out over Lake Estes. This suite even has 1 1/2 baths. We can truly say that this room exceeding our expectations. It was cold and snowy outside, but nice and cozy inside.... More
