My girlfriend and I recently stayed here. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The one person that stands out above all the the others was the bar manager, James Kocer. He was short staffed and did an amazing job taking care of people at the bar. During our visit, there was a wedding party and it was... More

We were on a weekend getaway to see the festival and we decided to head to the bar. There was a filled room of a wedding party and the dinner crowd filled the dinning room. A young man tending the bar was running the whole place. His name was James Kocer, he was in great spirits even though he was... More

Excellent Stay! Water view with 2 balconies thanks to Kevin Johnson who also added our AAA discount on check in. Nicole Cesare, at the front desk, was so helpful by sharing what local things to do and always smiling plus keeping the fresh cookie and coffee bin full. James Kocer was a tireless waiter!

We had traveled around Colorado for a week and when I found this resort I was very anxious to get there after a 6 hour drive. Other places we had visited the people were not that friendly. Sophia at the front desk was so nice and welcoming on the phone prior to making the decision to stay there or in... More

The hotel was very good, but the service from Kevin Johnson was excellent. There were a couple of issues we had that he took care of immediately over and above our expectations. Because of Kevin, we are likely to come back to the Estes Park Resort for years to come. Thank you, Sean Butson

Stayed here 5 nights in September. Room was on the 2nd level overlooking the lake. I must say the view is just great! The hotel (not really a resort) is nicely situated on the Lake and is next to the marina. There's also a lovely 1.25 mile path that takes you to Downtown Estes park. The front desk staff is... More

Normally we stay in a cute little cabin rental right outside Rocky Mountain National Park but our stay was only for one night so our options in the area were limited. We chose Estes Resort because of the convenience and availability but it ended up costing us $269 for the night PLUS $30 in fees. I've stayed in amazing rooms... More

I wouldn't necessarily consider this a class "resort". It appears that they have done some renovating, so some of the finishes are nice and new. The worst part about our stay was the noise level. The room adjacent to us had small children and we could hear cries which sounded like they were in the same room. Very loud! It... More

This is a hotel and not a resort. Great location, nice view, but way overpriced. The rooms were nice, comfortable but I would expect that at any nice hotel chain. The bar was nice and not over priced but it was empty in the middle of the tourist season.

When you hear resort you think of service, not here! Had a business trip with our meetings in one of the meeting room which was okay. Upon checking in and getting to my room to only find that I had a handicapped room (which I felt I should have given the option) by the way why would you put a... More
