My recommendation is to get a room with a balcony looking into the lake. There is gorgeous scenery and one of the evenings we were there we saw a family of elk wading in the water. It was absolutely amazing! My only complaint is I wish it was alittle closer to the downtown shops and restaurants but it was just... More

This place is absolutely the best resort I have ever stayed at. Amazing staff, delicious restaurant, cozy surroundings and an amazing view! For an amazing price! We have never been so satisfied. My now fiancé asked me to marry him here as well. Perfect retreat and easy to get to the national park and tramway! :) couldn't have asked for... More

The view of the mountains from our room (318) was absolutely beautiful. The fireplaces were nice along with the Jacuzzi made for a relaxing night. The restaurant "waterfront grill" had the best breakfast of anywhere else that we ate. This is a great place to stay while visiting Estes Park and RMNP.

This resort has a tremendous amount of potential. The biggest thing you need to know about this resort is that some of their rooms are underground. For the price this is highly disappointing. The AC didn't work and our toilet was also broken. I travel all of the time, so I don't let these type of issues bother me and... More

Hi Jahillme, Thank you for being our guest! I am sorry to hear you did not have an amazing experience with us. We do have about 5 rooms that are listed as "no-view" rooms on our property - just due to the physical layout of the hotel. These rooms do not have AC, and based on your described experience -... This resort is more of a hotel than resort. We enjoyed our room (adequate & clean) and the view. It was an awesome launching point for our daily half-day mountain hikes on the fourteeners. The lake view was pleasant w the mountains behind. Pretty. I slept well and was pleased that we chose this place. Note: the elks rut (aka... More

We had such a fabulous family weekend get away at the estes park resort. Clean room, very friendly staff and great resort feel - we have 2 year old twins and they absolutely loved the heated indoor pool! Also had a convenient, very yummy restaurant on site with the best staff!! Bree made our Sunday morning brunch before heading home... More

I visit family in Estes Park frequently and usually book a room at the cheapest motel I can find online. Never again. For just a little more I lucked into the Estes Park Resort this time and had the most relaxing and refreshing stay imaginable. Considering the fact that I brought my daughter and four young grandchildren along, that's saying... More

The hotel is beautiful, food is excellent and we didn't want to get out of that most comfortable bed. The room.was awesome, roomy and cozy especially withe the fireplace. We'll be back soon. The scenery is breath-taking.

I stayed her for 4 nights during Thanksgiving week. No matter what time of day I was passing thru the lobby, the person at the front desk never acknowledged us. Even though they would look you in the eye, I never got a single good morning/afternoon/evening, just blank stares. Room service options are poor, and unless you want a full... More

Average resort, but with amazing views that were worth the $239 a night for five nights. However, the rooms were a bit dirty and not that nice. More like an older Holiday Inn & Suites. Won't stay at this resort again.
