This is a hotel and not a resort. Great location, nice view, but way overpriced. The rooms were nice, comfortable but I would expect that at any nice hotel chain. The bar was nice and not over priced but it was empty in the middle of the tourist season.

When you hear resort you think of service, not here! Had a business trip with our meetings in one of the meeting room which was okay. Upon checking in and getting to my room to only find that I had a handicapped room (which I felt I should have given the option) by the way why would you put a... More

My husband and I took our 7 year old grandson to Estes Park in early August. We were very pleased with the location of our room, complete with a view overlooking beautiful Lake Estes and the mountains. We found the restaurant (Waterfront Grille) to have a great variety, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our picky... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. There are several motels packed in along the same stretch of road on the same lake. Estes Park Resort is significantly more expensive than the surrounding motels. Unlike the surrounding motels, the rooms are interior rooms, and there is a salon on site. I do not go on vacation to go... More

Stacy J, Thank you for being our guest and sharing your travel experiences with others! While there are certainly many hotel properties on the same road, we are the only property actually on Lake Estes. We understand that everyone enjoys their vacations a little differently so we try to offer a wide range of amenities including the massages and facials... More

I guess there is a certain expectation when I hear 'resort'. Arriving to find out that our 'partial view' is completely of a concrete wall was less than desirable. The room was warm so I adjusted the thermostat on the wall before we left for dinner. When we returned the room was still warm. The front desk advised that their... More

Amy S, Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience; we greatly appreciate feedback and will use yours to continue to improve our resort. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. A lack of AC is very common in Estes Park since it doesn't get hot enough for it very often at this altitude. From... More

We were greeted by a very professional desk clerk who assisted us with our room. She was very nice and friendly and even took the time to call us around 5p to check if there was anything the staff could do for us. The room was immaculate, the linens fresh and the view was spectacular! The breakfast the next morning... More

We had a really good experience with the catering department for our golf tournament banquet. We held it in the mezzanine area and had exceptional views and service. Would definitely recommend The Estes Park Resort for banquets!

Laurie V, Thank you for choosing to host your event in our lakeside resort! I am so pleased to see that your event went well. The Mezzanine is the smaller of our banquet room options, but allows the same grand views of the lake and Rocky Mountains. I hope that we will have the honor of hosting your golf tournament... More

I stayed at this hotel for two days, and it was a nice experience. The receptionist was pleasant to talk with and checked us in even though we were early! The room was quite nice, and had a little terrace outside. Not much of a view, but when you see the angle of the building you'll see why. It's a... More

Having only one weekend as a summer vacation we decided to spend a little more than usual & stay at Estes Park Resort. We couldn't have been more disappointed. The reception staff barely greeted us & seemed to hate his job; he checked us in but was almost rude. Our $250 room looked like it had been partly updated but... More

Recently stayed at Estes Park and paid a not inconsiderable charge for a room " with a partial view ".
