I know it is unusual to start a 5 star review by saying we had a few bad experiences with the resort but quite frankly we did. My son and daughter had planned their wedding for October and during the mid and late summer we had very negative experiences with the then management of the resort. Luckily for us the... More

This hotel is amazing. Every time we come over we stay here. Last year we came for the 4th of July, and it is amazing. The property is right next to the shore of Lake Estes, and they have their own unique firework display. It is incredibly awesome! If you get the chance this is the place to stay.

Hello, and thank you for your very kind words! Estes Park truly is a great destination anytime of the year - but our Independence Day celebration is very, very special! While we can't take credit for the fireworks show - every year our lawns and lakeside rooms fill up at dusk for families to enjoy the uniqueness of our show... More

My family and I visited The Estes Park Resort recently and found it to be a super location for the 4 of us. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room, while my husband hit the fitness center and I got to relax in the hot tub. We ate dinner at the restaurant one evening while in town because although... We had 2 rooms adjoining - which was perfect. The game room has many choices. The pool is wonderful for a hotel this size and goes to 6 ft. The Sauna and hot tub great. We did not eat in the restaurant but it certainly looked like a nice place with wonderful views of the mountains and lake. Actually, this... More

Estes Park Resort is the worst place to ever have your wedding. They built a gazebo without informing the brides who had already signed a contract. When we saw that the weather for our wedding was going to be cold and raining, they refused to help us come up with an indoor solution. They actually told us our only option... More

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice resort with very friendly people but the room is WAY overpriced. We had a Lakeview room #306...scenery is amazing but the room is something that you can get at a Holiday Inn Express. TV is tiny and has 15 channels...beds are very uncomfortable. If I paid $100 for this room it would... More

Hello MetsFan- Thank you for being our guest! I was pleased to see you appreciated our views and our staff, but was disappointed you felt our rates were not where they should be for your experience. Check in took forever. There was one woman at the desk who answered the phone and made reservations while guests waited to check in. Our room was large, sitting area and seperate bedroom. Two bathrooms, but one did not have a door which seemed odd. Nice shower, good pressure and soft water, but towel bars near the shower would have... More

We did not actually spend the night, although we wish we had! We attended a wedding reception there. The food was fantastic (not sure if it was catered or supplied by the resort) and the view from the room was amazing. They had appetizers set up just outside the reception room on the deck, which had a wonderful view. The... More

If not for the wonderful person at the front desk by the name of Sophia and a waitress, Anne, in the restaurant, I would have given this place zero stars. I was there to attend a wedding which was wonderful really only due to the event, the wedding couple and attendees. Otherwise, the stay was awful, so much so that... More

This was a pleasant surprise and probably the best place we have stayed in Estes Park after three visits in the last eight years. Since we wanted a Lake View room with a balcony we were given the only room that was available - handicap accessible. This gave us a lot of room even with a King sized bed. The... More
